| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When signing images, we repeatedly call fit_add_file_data() with successively increasing size values to include the keys in the DTB. Unfortunately, if large keys are used (such as 4096 bit RSA keys), this process fails sometimes, and mkimage needs to be called repeatedly to integrate the keys into the DTB. This is because fit_add_file_data actually returns the wrong error code, and the loop terminates prematurely, instead of trying again with a larger size value. This patch corrects the return value by fixing the return value of fdt_add_bignum, fixes a case where an error is masked by a unconditional setting of a return value variable, and also removes a error message, which is misleading, since we actually allow the function to fail. A (hopefully helpful) comment is also added to explain the lack of error message. Add another compatible value for it. Tegra186 will use an entirely different clock/reset control mechanism to existing chips, and will use standard clock/reset APIs rather than the existing Tegra-specific custom APIs. The driver support for that isn't ready yet, so simply disable all clock/reset usage if compiling for Tegra186. This must happen at compile time rather than run-time since the custom APIs won't even be compiled in on Tegra186. In the long term, the plan would be to convert the existing custom APIs to standard APIs and get rid of the ifdefs completely. The system's main eMMC will work without any clock/reset support, since the firmware will have already initialized the controller in order to load U-Boot. Instead of pulling in functions provided by the libgcc from the toolchain, U-Boot will use it's own set of libgcc functions. These functions are usually imported from Linux kernel, which also uses it's own libgcc functions instead of the ones provided by the toolchain. This patch solves a rather common problem. The toolchain can usually generate code for many variants of target architecture and often even different endianness. The libgcc on the other hand is usually compiled for one particular configuration and the functions provided by it may or may not be suited for use in U-Boot. This can manifest in two ways, either the U-Boot fails to compile altogether and linker will complain or, in the much worse case, the resulting U-Boot will build, but will misbehave in very subtle and hard to debug ways.
