* powerpc: mpc8260: consolidate CONFIG_MPC8260 and CONFIG_8260Masahiro Yamada2014-03-07-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Before this commit, CONFIG_MPC8260 and CONFIG_8260 were used mixed-up. All boards with mpc8260 cpu defined both of them: - CONFIG_MPC8260 was defined in board config headers and include/common.h - CONFIG_8260 was defined arch/powerpc/cpu/mpc8260/config.mk We do not need to have both of them. This commit keeps only CONFIG_MPC8260. This commit does: - Delete CONFIG_8260 and CONFIG_MPC8260 definition in config headers and include/common.h - Rename CONFIG_8260 to CONFIG_MPC8260 in arch/powerpc/cpu/mpc8260/config.mk. - Rename #ifdef CONFIG_8260 to #ifdef CONFIG_MPC8260 Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Cc: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>

* Power: remove support for Freescale MPC8220Wolfgang Denk2013-05-15-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The Freescale MPC8220 Power Architecture processors have long reached EOL; Freescale does not even list these any more on their web site. Remove the code to avoid wasting maitaining efforts on dead stuff. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Cc: Andy Fleming <afleming@gmail.com>
* powerpc: fix wrong comment at GOT definitionsHeiko Schocher2010-06-29-1/+1
| | | | | | | r12 is used for accessing the GOT not r14. Fix this in the comment. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>
* ppc: Use r12 instead of r14 as GOT pointer.Joakim Tjernlund2010-01-26-4/+4
| | | | | | | | r14 is not supposed to be clobbered by functions. Switch to r12 and call GET_GOT when needed. This will allow u-boot to loose the -ffixed-r14 gcc option. Signed-off-by: Joakim Tjernlund <Joakim.Tjernlund@transmode.se>
* ppc: Loose GOT access in IRQJoakim Tjernlund2010-01-26-25/+22
| | | | | | | | Using the GOT in IRQ handlers requires r14 to be -ffixed-r14. Avoid this by relocatate transfer_to_handler too. This will allow to free up r14 later on. Signed-off-by: Joakim Tjernlund <Joakim.Tjernlund@transmode.se>

| | | | | | | Always define MCK_EXCEPTION macro - so e500 can use it too. Signed-off-by: Ed Swarthout <Ed.Swarthout@freescale.com> Acked-by: Andy Fleming <afleming@freescale.com>
* Fix breakage of 8xx boards from recent commit.Rafal Jaworowski2007-07-19-1/+1
| | | | | | | This patch fixes the negative consequences for 8xx of the recent "ppc4xx: Clean up 440 exceptions handling" commit. Signed-off-by: Rafal Jaworowski <raj@semihalf.com>
* [ppc] Fix build breakage for all non-4xx PowerPC variants.Rafal Jaworowski2007-06-22-1/+1

* ppc4xx: Clean up 440 exceptions handlingGrzegorz Bernacki2007-06-15-57/+39
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Introduced dedicated switches for building 440 and 405 images required for 440-specific machine instructions like 'rfmci' etc. - Exception vectors moved to the proper location (_start moved away from the critical exception handler space, which it occupied) - CriticalInput now serviced (with default handler) - MachineCheck properly serviced (added a dedicated handler and return subroutine) - Overall cleanup of exceptions declared with STD_EXCEPTION macro (unused, unhandled and those not relevant for 4xx were eliminated) - Eliminated Linux leftovers, removed dead code Signed-off-by: Grzegorz Bernacki <gjb@semihalf.com> Signed-off-by: Rafal Jaworowski <raj@semihalf.com> Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
