* mxc nand: Homogenize IP revisions with LinuxBenoît Thébaudeau2012-09-17-7/+9
| | | | | | | | | | Use the same IP revisions as in Linux in order to make the comparison more clear. Signed-off-by: Benoît Thébaudeau <benoit.thebaudeau@advansee.com> Cc: Scott Wood <scottwood@freescale.com> Cc: Stefano Babic <sbabic@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Scott Wood <scottwood@freescale.com>
* mxc nand: Let driver detect IP revisionBenoît Thébaudeau2012-09-17-5/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | There is no reason to have board configs to select the NFC IP revision. Just let the driver detect it. BTW, remove broken NFC IP revision configs from board config files. * mxc nand: Access all ecc_status_result fieldsBenoît Thébaudeau2012-09-17-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | On the NFC IP 1.1, the 32-bit ecc_status_result value comes from 2 consecutive 16-bit registers. This patch reads all the fields of this value, which makes a difference for 4-kiB NF pages. * mxc nand: Merge mtd and spl register definitionsBenoît Thébaudeau2012-09-17-49/+48
| | | | | | | | | | This patches fixes the TODO to use same register definitions in mtd mxc_nand and nand_spl fsl nfc drivers. * Add MX25 support to nand_spl fsl nfc driverJohn Rigby2010-01-27-12/+74
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MX25 has a different version of the fsl_nfc flash controller known as version 1.1. Add support to the nand_spl fsl_nfc driver Versioning differs from mainline mxc kernel driver no consensus yet on if the naming here and in Redboot or the kernel is "correct". * MX31: Add NAND SPL for i.MX31.Magnus Lilja2009-06-21-0/+109
This patch adds the NAND SPL framework needed to boot i.MX31 boards from NAND. It has been tested on a i.MX31 PDK board with large page NAND. Small page NANDs should work as well, but this has not been tested. Note: The i.MX31 NFC uses a non-standard layout for large page NANDs, whether this is compatible with a particular setup depends on how the NAND device is programmed by the flash programmer (e.g. JTAG debugger). The patch is based on the work by Maxim Artamonov. Signed-off-by: Maxim Artamonov <scn1874@yandex.ru> Signed-off-by: Magnus Lilja <lilja.magnus@gmail.com>
