* include: remove CONFIG_SPL/CONFIG_TPL definition in config headersMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | Now CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL are defined in Kconfig. Remove the redundant definition in config headers. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* include: define CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL as 1Masahiro Yamada2014-07-30-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We are about to switch to Kconfig in the next commit. But there are something to get done beforehand. In Kconfig, include/generated/autoconf.h defines boolean CONFIG macros as 1. CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL, if defined, must be set to 1. Otherwise, when switching to Kconfig, the build log would be sprinkled with warning messages like this: warning: "CONFIG_SPL" redefined [enabled by default] Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* ARM: pxa: Fix OneNAND window access on VPAC270Marek Vasut2014-01-13-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Access the OneNAND 1KiB window on the VPAC270 as an SRAM instead of accessing it as a burst-RAM. This fixes a problem where the board failed to reboot sometimes as the CPU couldn't start executing from the OneNAND 1KiB window. * kgdb: configs: remove obsolete CONFIG_KGDB_SER_INDEXVladimir Zapolskiy2013-12-13-1/+0
| | | | | | | | The last users of CONFIG_KGDB_SER_INDEX were removed more than 3 years ago in commits 550650ddd0 and bf16500f79, either kgdb subsystem should care about this parameter or it should be gone completely. Signed-off-by: Vladimir Zapolskiy <vz@mleia.com>

* config: Add a default CONFIG_SYS_PROMPTRob Herring2013-11-04-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The definitions for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT are varied with little reason other than to display the board name. Over half the definitions are "==> ", so make this the default. The rest of the boards remain unchanged to avoid breaking any external scripts expecting a certain prompt. * serial: pxa: Make use of default_serial_console in serial_pxaMarek Vasut2012-10-15-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Make use of the newly implemented weak default_serial_console in the serial_pxa driver. This removes all reimplementations of this function from board files. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Cc: Marek Vasut <marek.vasut@gmail.com> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* ARM: Remove unused stack and irq config definesRob Herring2012-09-01-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_STACKSIZE is not referenced anywhere except on AVR32, but present in most ARM board config files. IRQs are only enabled for 1 config, so remove the unused config options for IRQ and FIQ stack size as well. * hush.c: Move default CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to hush.cTom Rini2012-06-20-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Exactly one board has defined CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to a value different than "> " which is vision2. I have Cc'd the maintainer here as I strongly suspect this is a bug rather than intentional behavior. * CONFIG_SYS_BAUDRATE_TABLE: Add <config_fallbacks.h>, place thereTom Rini2012-06-20-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | We provide a default table of { 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 } in <config_fallbacks.h> which mkconfig places after <configs/...h> in the generated config file. This is used when a board has not set its own table. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>

* Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk2010-10-26-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. * PXA: fix environment sector size, kernel and environment location for vpac270Mikhail Kshevetskiy2010-10-19-8/+17
| | | | | | | | | | Define ENV_ADDR as MONITOR_BASE + MONITOR_LEN. Fix environment sector size (NOR: 32Kb for first four sectors and 128Kb for other; OneNAND: 128Kb). Last but not least: we have MONITOR_LEN = 0x40000 and one sector for environment (size = 0x20000), so the kernel may start from 0x00060000 only.
