* cmd, disk: convert CONFIG_PARTITION_UUIDS, CMD_PART and CMD_GPTPatrick Delaunay2017-01-28-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | We convert CONFIG_PARTITION_UUIDS to Kconfig first. But in order to cleanly update all of the config files we must also update CMD_PART and CMD_GPT to also be in Kconfig in order to avoid complex logic elsewhere to update all of the config files. * ARM: tegra: increase console buffer size and sys args numBryan Wu2016-09-27-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The Linux-for-Tegra kernel uses a very long command line. The default value of CONFIG_SYS_CBSIZE is too small to printf out the long command line and causes a message like: bootarg overflow 602+0+0+1 > 512 on the console, and the board refuses to boot. The default value of CONFIG_SYS_MAXARGS is too small to add a long long command line, and the kernel won't boot without the complete bootargs. Increasing these two config options solves this problem. * ARM: tegra: convert CONFIG_TEGRA_GPIO to KconfigStephen Warren2016-05-31-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Future chips will contain different GPIO HW. This change will enable future SoC support to select the appropriate GPIO driver for their HW, in a future-looking fashion, using Kconfig. TEGRA_GPIO is not simply selected by TEGRA_COMMON (even though all current Tegra chips used this GPIO HW) to simplify the later addition of support for Tegra SoCs that use different GPIO HW. * Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass2016-03-14-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. * ARM: tegra: fix malloc region sizingStephen Warren2015-09-11-14/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 52a7c98a1772 "tegra-common: increase malloc pool len by dfu mmc file buffer size" updated the definition of CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_LEN for Tegra to take account of the DFU buffer size. However, this change had no effect, since typical Tegra board config headers don't set the DFU- related defines until after tegra-common.h is included. Fix this by moving the affected conditional code to tegra-common-post.h, which is included last. Also move the definition of SYS_NONCACHED_MEMORY since it's a related and adjacent definition. Fix the condition to test for the DFU feature, rather than specifically MMC DFU support, so it applies in all cases. Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
* ARM: tegra: represent RAM in 1 or 2 banksStephen Warren2015-08-13-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Represent all available RAM in either one or two banks. The first bank describes any RAM below 4GB. The second bank describes any RAM above 4GB. This split is driven by the following requirements: - The NVIDIA L4T kernel requires separate entries in the DT /memory/reg property for memory below and above the 4GB boundary. The layout of that DT property is directly driven by the entries in the U-Boot bank array. - On systems with RAM beyond a physical address of 4GB, the potential existence of a carve-out at the end of RAM below 4GB can only be represented using multiple banks, since usable RAM is not contiguous. While making this change, add a lot more comments re: how and why RAM is represented in banks, and implement a few more "semantic" functions that define (and perhaps later detect at run-time) the size of any carve-out. * kconfig: add config option for shell promptNikita Kiryanov2015-08-13-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate boards globally. The migration is done as follows: - Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the entry moved to their defconfig files. - Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone. - This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common, ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common. - Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever the default is. - On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some <boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common, bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files. - The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT.
