* powerpc: pdm360ng: convert to generic boardAnatolij Gustschin2014-10-27-0/+2
| | | | Signed-off-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de>
* powerpc: mpc512x: remove redundant CONFIG_MPC512X definitionMasahiro Yamada2014-01-24-1/+0
| | | | | | | We do not have to define CONFIG_MPC512X in board config headers because it is defined in arch/powerpc/cpu/mpc512x/config.mk. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>
* kgdb: configs: remove obsolete CONFIG_KGDB_SER_INDEXVladimir Zapolskiy2013-12-13-1/+0
| | | | | | | | The last users of CONFIG_KGDB_SER_INDEX were removed more than 3 years ago in commits 550650ddd0 and bf16500f79, either kgdb subsystem should care about this parameter or it should be gone completely. Signed-off-by: Vladimir Zapolskiy <vz@mleia.com>
* config: remove platform CONFIG_SYS_HZ definition part 2/2Rob Herring2013-11-04-1/+0
| | | | | | Remove platform CONFIG_SYS_HZ definition for configs a-z*. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com>
* config: Add a default CONFIG_SYS_PROMPTRob Herring2013-11-04-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The definitions for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT are varied with little reason other than to display the board name. Over half the definitions are "==> ", so make this the default. The rest of the boards remain unchanged to avoid breaking any external scripts expecting a certain prompt. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Reviewed-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>
* Coding Style cleanup: remove trailing white spaceWolfgang Denk2013-10-14-1/+1
| | | | Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* Add GPL-2.0+ SPDX-License-Identifier to source filesWolfgang Denk2013-07-24-17/+1

* mpc: iim: Switch to common fsl_iimBenoît Thébaudeau2013-04-28-0/+7
| | | | | | | Make all mpc512x code point to the new common fsl_iim driver, and remove the former mpc512x-specific iim driver. Signed-off-by: Benoît Thébaudeau <benoit.thebaudeau@advansee.com>
* mpc512x: use common code for clock setting for all mpc512x boardsAnatolij Gustschin2013-03-09-1/+17
| | | | | | | | | Only define enabled clocks in the config file and enable the clocks in common code. Signed-off-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de> Cc: Reinhard Arlt <reinhard.arlt@esd-electronics.com> Cc: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* mpc512x: use common code for CSx configurationAnatolij Gustschin2013-03-09-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | Remove CSx configurations from board code and only define required CSx macros in the board config file to configure chip select windows and parameters. Signed-off-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de> Cc: Reinhard Arlt <reinhard.arlt@esd-electronics.com> Cc: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* serial: Remove CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI from config filesMarek Vasut2012-10-15-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove any notion of CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI from board config files. Since CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI is now enabled by default, it is useless to specify this config option in the board config files. Therefore remove it. * NAND: remove NAND_MAX_CHIPS definitionsVladimir Zapolskiy2012-01-26-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | This change follows the change by Wolfgang Grandegger (commit 6c869637fef), which allows to remove useless NAND_MAX_CHIPS definitions in board config files. * board configs: drop NET_MULTI referencesMike Frysinger2011-10-05-1/+0
| | | | | | | Now that none of the core checks CONFIG_NET_MULTI, there's not much point in boards defining it. So scrub all references to it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* powerpc: use 'video-mode' environment variable to configure DIUTimur Tabi2011-04-28-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Use the 'video-mode' environment variable (for Freescale chips that have a DIU display controller) to designate the full video configuration. Previously, the DIU driver used the 'monitor' variable, and it was used only to determine the output video port. The old definition of the "monitor" environment variable only determines which video port to use for output. This variable was set to a number (0, 1, or sometimes 2) to specify a DVI, LVDS, or Dual-LVDS port. The resolution was hard-coded into board-specific code. The Linux command-line arguments needed to be hard-coded to the proper video definition string. Signed-off-by: Timur Tabi <timur@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de>
* powerpc: Cleanup BOOTFLAG_* referencesPeter Tyser2010-10-18-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Now that warm booting is not supported, there isn't a need for the BOOTFLAG_COLD and BOOTFLAG_WARM defines, so remove them. Note that this change makes the board info bd_bootflags field useless. It will always be set to 0, but we leave it around so that we don't break the board info structure that some OSes are expecting to be passed from U-Boot. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com>
* Makefile: move all Power Architecture boards into boards.cfgWolfgang Denk2010-10-18-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Clean up Makefile, and drop a lot of the config.mk files on the way. We now also automatically pick all boards that are listed in boards.cfg (and with all configurations), so we can drop the redundant entries from MAKEALL to avoid building these twice. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* Rename TEXT_BASE into CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASEWolfgang Denk2010-10-18-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The change is currently needed to be able to remove the board configuration scripting from the top level Makefile and replace it by a simple, table driven script. Moving this configuration setting into the "CONFIG_*" name space is also desirable because it is needed if we ever should move forward to a Kconfig driven configuration system. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* e300: increase CONFIG_SYS_BOOTMAPSZ to allow booting large kernelsIra W. Snyder2010-09-23-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Newer Linux kernels can overrun the initial memory window used for booting with their BSS area. When this happens, they overwrite the FDT and silently fail to boot. On e300 CPUs, the Linux kernel uses an initial BAT covering the first 256MB of RAM. See arch/powerpc/kernel/head_32.S for details. Increase the value of CONFIG_SYS_BOOTMAPSZ to accommodate the maximum value allowed by Linux. This will allow very large kernels to boot. Signed-off-by: Ira W.
