* kconfig: add config option for shell promptNikita Kiryanov2015-08-13-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add option to set shell prompt string from menuconfig and migrate boards globally. The migration is done as follows: - Boards that explicitly and unconditionally set CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT had the entry moved to their defconfig files. - Boards that defined some kind of #ifdef logic which selects the CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT (for example qemu-mips) got an #undef CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT right before the #ifdef logic and were left alone. - This change forces CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT to be a per board decision, and thus CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT was removed from all <soc>_common.h and <arch>_common.h files. This results in a streamlined default value across platforms, and includes the following files: spear-common, sunxi-common, mv-common, ti_armv7_common, tegra-common, at91-sama5_common, and zynq-common. - Boards that relied on <arch/soc>_common.h values of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT were not updated in their respective defconfig files under the assumption that since they did not explicitly define a value, they're fine with whatever the default is. - On the other hand, boards that relied on a value defined in some <boards>_common.h file such as woodburn_common, rpi-common, bur_am335x_common, ls2085a_common, siemens_am33x_common, and omap3_evm_common, had their values moved to the respective defconfig files. - The define V_PROMPT was removed, since it is not used anywhere except for assigning a value for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT. * Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. * net: Move the CMD_NET config to defconfigsJoe Hershberger2015-06-01-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | This also selects CONFIG_NET for any CONFIG_CMD_NET board. Remove the imx default for CONFIG_NET. This moves the config that was defined by 60296a8 (commands: add more command entries in Kconfig). Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* ORIGEN: Enhance origen config to be more flexible on boot.Guillaume GARDET2014-11-25-1/+34
| | | | | | | | This patch enhances the boot of origen board by adding support to ext2, bootz, initrd, bootenv loading and boot script. It still keeps the previous mmc load command if boot script fails. Signed-off-by: Guillaume GARDET <guillaume.gardet@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Minkyu Kang <mk7.kang@samsung.com>
* exynos: Move common exynos settings into a common fileSimon Glass2014-10-08-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Since exynos4 and exyno5 share many settings, we should move these into a common file to avoid duplication. In effect the changes are that all exynos boards now have EXT4 and FAT write support. This affects exynos5250 and exynos5420 which previously did not. This also disables the ext2 commands which are equivalent to ext4 anyway. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Minkyu Kang <mk7.kang@samsung.com>
* exynos: Rename -dt config files to -commonSimon Glass2014-10-08-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | We want exynos5250-dt.h to be a board which can support any exynos5250 device. This matches the naming used by Linux. As a first step, rename the existing -dt files to -common to make it clear they are common files, and not specific boards. * include: remove CONFIG_SPL/CONFIG_TPL definition in config headersMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | Now CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL are defined in Kconfig. Remove the redundant definition in config headers. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* include: define CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL as 1Masahiro Yamada2014-07-30-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We are about to switch to Kconfig in the next commit. But there are something to get done beforehand. In Kconfig, include/generated/autoconf.h defines boolean CONFIG macros as 1. CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL, if defined, must be set to 1. Otherwise, when switching to Kconfig, the build log would be sprinkled with warning messages like this: warning: "CONFIG_SPL" redefined [enabled by default] Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* board:origen: Enable device tree on OrigenPiotr Wilczek2014-03-12-79/+31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch enables to run Origen board on device tree. Uart, DRAM and MMC init functions are removed as their generic replacements form the common board file are used. The config file is modified to contain only board specific options. * EXYNOS: Move files from board/samsung to arch/armRajeshwari Shinde2013-07-05-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch performs the following: 1) Convert the assembly code for memory and clock initialization to C code. 2) Move the memory and clock init codes from board/samsung to arch/arm 3) Creat a common lowlevel_init file across Exynos4 and Exynos5. Converted the common lowlevel_init from assembly to C-code 4) Made spl_boot.c and tzpc_init.c common for both exynos4 and exynos5. 5) Enable CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT as stack pointer initialisation is already done in _main. 6) exynos-uboot-spl.lds made common across SMDKV310, Origen and SMDK5250. * serial: Remove CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI from config filesMarek Vasut2012-10-15-1/+0

Cortex-A9 and Cortex-A15 based SoC's will be sub-classified as Exynos4 and Exynos5 respectively. In order to better adapt and reuse code across various upcoming Samsung Exynos based boards, all uses of s5pc210 prefix/suffix/directory-names are renamed in this patch. s5pc210 is renamed as exynos4210 and S5PC210/s5pc210 suffix/prefix are renamed as exynos4/EXYNOS4.
