* nios2: remove asm/status_led.hThomas Chou2012-11-10-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | The file has a wrong inline keyword of __led_toggle(), which causes compilation error. And its content is defined in common status_led.h. So define CONFIG_BOARD_SPECIFIC_LED in board config files and remove this header file. Signed-off-by: Thomas Chou <thomas@wytron.com.tw>
* nios2: move gd and bd into BSSThomas Chou2012-07-16-8/+4
| | | | | | | | | As suggested by Graeme Russ, move gd and bd data structrures to BSS instead of calculating the locations around the stack and heap. Signed-off-by: Thomas Chou <thomas@wytron.com.tw> Acked-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* hush.c: Move default CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to hush.cTom Rini2012-06-20-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Exactly one board has defined CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to a value different than "> " which is vision2. I have Cc'd the maintainer here as I strongly suspect this is a bug rather than intentional behavior. * nios2 - adjust gbl data off to account for bd_infoAlex Hornung2012-02-24-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | * Adjust the GBL_DATA_OFFSET to account for the fact that we'll be using the space between that offset and the start of the malloc region to allocate both a gd structure and a board info structure. * This fixes a memory corruption bug due to overlap of the malloc region and the bd_info structure. * board configs: drop NET_MULTI referencesMike Frysinger2011-10-05-1/+0
| | | | | | | Now that none of the core checks CONFIG_NET_MULTI, there's not much point in boards defining it. So scrub all references to it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

* Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk2010-10-26-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. * nios2: add gpio support to nios2-generic boardThomas Chou2010-05-28-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds gpio support of Altera PIO component to the nios2-generic board. Though it drives only gpio_led at the moment, it supports bidirectional port to control bit-banging I2C, NAND flash busy status or button switches, etc. Signed-off-by: Thomas Chou <thomas@wytron.com.tw> Tested-by: Ian Abbott <abbotti@mev.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Scott McNutt <smcnutt@psyent.com>
* nios2: add nios2-generic boardThomas Chou2010-04-24-0/+153
This is a generic approach to port u-boot for nios2 boards. You may find the usage of this approach on the nioswiki, http://nioswiki.com/DasUBoot A fpga parameter file, which contains base address information and drivers declaration, is generated from Altera's hardware system description sopc file using tools. The example fpga parameter file is compatible with EP1C20, EP1S10 and EP1S40 boards. So these boards can be removed after this commit. Though epcs controller is removed to cut the dependency of altera_spi driver. Signed-off-by: Thomas Chou <thomas@wytron.com.tw> Signed-off-by: Scott McNutt <smcnutt@psyent.com>
