* arm, powerpc: select SYS_GENERIC_BOARDMasahiro Yamada2015-10-24-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e. all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC, which have not supported Generic Board framework yet. Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro defines in include/configs/*.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
* arm: mvebu: Only set CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT for SPLStefan Roese2015-10-21-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | When running on the AXP I sometimes noticed a strange behavior. As some characters are not echoed on the U-Boot prompt. Not disabling the lowlevel_init code, especially calling cpu_init_cp15() in the main U-Boot seems to solve this issue. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* arm: mvebu: Move CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE to an address < 16 MiBStefan Roese2015-08-17-1/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch moves CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE to 0x00800000 for all Armada XP / 38x boards in mainline U-Boot. This is done in preparation for the ECC SDRAM scrubbing that needs to be done in the main U-Boot. The SPL (previously bin_hdr) has already scrubbed the area: 0x0000.0000 - 0x0100.0000 In this area this main U-Boot needs to get loaded. The main U-Boot then can scrub the remaining SDRAM area while running from this location. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Luka Perkov <luka.perkov@sartura.hr>
* arm: mvebu: drivers/ddr: Move Armada XP DDR init code into new directoryStefan Roese2015-07-23-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With the upcoming addition of the Armada 38x DDR support, which is not compatible to the Armada XP DDR init code, we need to introduce a new directory infrastructure. To support multiple Marvell DDR controller. This will be the new structure: drivers/ddr/marvell/axp Supporting Armada XP (AXP) devices (and perhaps Armada 370) drivers/ddr/marvell/a38x Supporting Armada 38x devices (and perhaps Armada 39x) Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

| | | | | | | | | This commit moves: - CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_BAR from include/configs/*.h into configs/*_defconfigs Signed-off-by: Jagan Teki <jteki@openedev.com>
* Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. * arm: mvebu: Change network init code to allow a more flexible setupStefan Roese2015-05-05-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With the introduction of the Armada 38x support, its necessary to change the mvneta ethernet driver init call from always 4 times to a configurable value. Lets make this init call more flexible by moving the actually used devices to the config header. Additionally this patch takes care of the slightly different base addresses for the ethernet controllers on A38x. * arm: mvebu: Move CONFIG_SPL_LDSCRIPT to common headerStefan Roese2015-05-05-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | This way, new MVEBU boards don't need to specifiy the common location for the SPL linker script. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Tested-by: Kevin Smith <kevin.smith@elecsyscorp.com> Tested-by: Dirk Eibach <dirk.eibach@gdsys.cc>
* arm: mvebu: Move mvebu-common into mach-mvebuStefan Roese2015-05-05-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Now that the mach-mvebu directory exists and is used by Armada XP we can move the mvebu-common files into this directory as well. * i2c: mvtwsi: Support for up to 4 different controllersPaul Kocialkowski2015-04-15-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Orion5x, Kirkwood and Armada XP platforms come with a single TWSI (I2C) MVTWSI controller. However, other platforms using MVTWSI may come with more: this is the case on Allwinner (sunxi) platforms, where up to 4 controllers can be found on the same chip.
