* Convert CONFIG_BOARD_EARLY_INIT_F to KconfigSimon Glass2017-01-25-1/+0
| | | | | | | This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_BOARD_EARLY_INIT_F Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* Kconfig: Move config IDENT_STRING to KconfigSiva Durga Prasad Paladugu2016-09-20-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | Move the config IDENT_STRING to Kconfig and migrate all boards [sivadur: Migrate zynq boards] Signed-off-by: Siva Durga Prasad Paladugu <sivadur@xilinx.com> [trini: Update configs, add some default to sunxi Kconfig] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* autoboot: remove CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECKMasahiro Yamada2016-07-01-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As the help message of CONFIG_BOOTDELAY says, CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2 means the autoboot with no delay, with no abort check even if CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK is defined. To sum up, the autoboot behaves as follows: [1] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=y autoboot with no delay, but you can abort it by key input [2] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=n autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort [3] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-1 disable autoboot [4] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2 autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort As you notice, [2] and [4] come to the same result, which means we do not need CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK. We can control all the cases only by CONFIG_BOOTDELAY, like this: [1] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 autoboot with no delay, but you can abort it by key input [2] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-1 disable autoboot [3] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2 autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort This commit converts the logic as follow: CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=n --> CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2 Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com> Reviewed-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Acked-by: Igor Grinberg <grinberg@compulab.co.il> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Vladimir Zapolskiy <vz@mleia.com> Reviewed-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Acked-by: Christian Riesch <christian.riesch@omicronenergy.com> Acked-by: Hannes Schmelzer <hannes.schmelzer@br-automation.com>
* configs: Re-sync with cmd/KconfigTom Rini2016-04-25-1/+0
| | | | | | | Update the config.h and defconfig files for the commands that 8e3c036 converted over to Kconfig Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* configs: Re-sync almost all of cmd/KconfigTom Rini2016-04-25-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This syncs up the current cmd/Kconfig and include/configs/ files with the only exception being CMD_NAND. Due to how we have used this historically we need to take further care here when converting. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* powerpc: Replace CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_END with CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZEYork Sun2016-04-08-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE may be used out of the board header file. Some boards use CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_END for the same purpose. To unify the macros, use CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE for all. * iocon / bamboo: Drop CONFIG_SYS_LONGHELPTom Rini2016-01-20-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | The iocon and bamboo boards are often on the verge of, or going over, their allowed size limits depending on toolchain used. If we turn off CONFIG_SYS_LONGHELP we can gain approximately 14KiB back. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Acked-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Acked-by: Dirk Eibach <dirk.eibach@gdsys.cc>

* arm, powerpc: select SYS_GENERIC_BOARDMasahiro Yamada2015-10-24-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e. all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC, which have not supported Generic Board framework yet. Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro defines in include/configs/*.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>

* Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. * fit: make sha256 support optionalDirk Eibach2014-07-07-0/+1

* board: gdsys: Remove commands to reduce footprintDirk Eibach2014-07-07-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | Commit "2842c1c fit: add sha256 support" badly increased memory footprint, so some of our boards did not build anymore. Since monitor base must not be changed I removed some commands to save memory. Maybe making sha256 optional for fit would be an option for the future since it really has some beefy footprint. * configs: Delete obsolete macro, CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZEMasahiro Yamada2014-02-19-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE is not used any more. The size of struct "global_data" is automatically calculated by asm-offsets. (See lib/asm-offsets.c) GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE should be used instead of CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>
* powerpc: ppc4xx: remove redundant CONFIG_4xx definitionMasahiro Yamada2014-01-24-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | We do not have to define CONFIG_4xx in board config headers because it is defined in arch/powerpc/cpu/ppc4xx/config.mk. include/configs/JSE.h defines "CONFIG_4x", not "CONFIG_4xx". I believe it is a typo because "CONFIG_4x" is not used at all in other files. So, I also deleted "CONFIG_4x" in include/configs/JSE.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>

* powerpc/ppc4xx: Remove CONFIG_SYS_FLASH_PROTECTION from gdsys boardsDirk Eibach2013-07-25-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_FLASH_PROTECTION was active on most gdsys boards by default, while hardware flash protection was not implemented. Hardware support was added recently and we get into trouble because backward compatibility is broken (u-boot can't unprotect the protected flash after a downgrade). So we decided to disable hardware flash protection for all our boards. Signed-off-by: Dirk Eibach <dirk.eibach@gdsys.cc> Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
