* ARM: Remove unused stack and irq config definesRob Herring2012-09-01-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_STACKSIZE is not referenced anywhere except on AVR32, but present in most ARM board config files. IRQs are only enabled for 1 config, so remove the unused config options for IRQ and FIQ stack size as well. * hush.c: Move default CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to hush.cTom Rini2012-06-20-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Exactly one board has defined CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 to a value different than "> " which is vision2. I have Cc'd the maintainer here as I strongly suspect this is a bug rather than intentional behavior. * CONFIG_SYS_BAUDRATE_TABLE: Add <config_fallbacks.h>, place thereTom Rini2012-06-20-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | We provide a default table of { 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 } in <config_fallbacks.h> which mkconfig places after <configs/...h> in the generated config file. This is used when a board has not set its own table. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* davinci: add support for printing clock frequencyHadli, Manjunath2012-02-12-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | add support for printing various clock frequency info found in SOC such as ARM core frequency, DSP core frequency and DDR frequency as part of bdinfo command. Signed-off-by: Manjunath Hadli <manjunath.hadli@ti.com> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* davinci: remove macro CONFIG_DISPLAY_CPUINFOHadli, Manjunath2012-02-12-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | remove the macro CONFIG_DISPLAY_CPUINFO as it is no longer required. This is because clock info will be printed as part 'bdinfo' command and also remove support print_cpuinfo() as it will no longer be called. Signed-off-by: Manjunath Hadli <manjunath.hadli@ti.com> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>
* davinci: remove obsolete macro CONFIG_EMAC_MDIO_PHY_NUMManjunath Hadli2011-10-27-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | remove macro CONFIG_EMAC_MDIO_PHY_NUM and depending macro EMAC_MDIO_PHY_NUM as they are no longer needed with the support for more than 1 PHYs in davinci emac driver. Signed-off-by: Manjunath Hadli <manjunath.hadli@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* board configs: drop NET_MULTI referencesMike Frysinger2011-10-05-1/+0
| | | | | | | Now that none of the core checks CONFIG_NET_MULTI, there's not much point in boards defining it. So scrub all references to it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* DaVinci sffsdr: Add ARM Relocation SupportSandeep Paulraj2010-12-17-0/+9

* DaVinci: Config cleanupSandeep Paulraj2010-12-17-5/+0
| | | | | | | Some DaVinci boards are using flags that are no longer valid So remove them. Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* Drop support for CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOTWolfgang Denk2010-10-29-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For ARM systems, before ELF relocation was introduced, CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOT coul be used to prevent *COPYING* the U-Boot image from whereever it was loaded to it's link address (CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE). The name was badly chosen, as no relocation was performed at all, it was just a memcpy(). With ELF relocation, this does not work like that any more, and related boards need to be fixed anyway. So don't keep this relict any longer. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Tested-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Tested-by: Reinhard Meyer <u-boot@emk-elektronik.de>
* Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk2010-10-26-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. * DaVinci: EMAC: Get EMAC_MDIO_PHY_NUM from config filesPrakash PM2010-06-22-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently EMAC_MDIO_PHY_NUM is defined as 1 in emac_defs.h. Because of this, EMAC does not work on EVMs which do not have phy connected at 1. Moving the macro to board config file makes this configurable depending on where the phy is connected on the MDIO bus. This patch fixes the board reset issue observed during network access on DM365EVM. EMAC driver was assuming EMAC_MDIO_PHY_NUM as 1 but it is 0 on DM365EVM. This patch is verified on da830/omap-l137, dm365 and dm644x evms. Signed-off-by: Prakash PM <prakash.pm@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* Davinci: Configurable NAND chip selectsNick Thompson2010-01-04-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Davinci: Configurable NAND chip selects Add a CONFIG_SYS_NAND_CS setting to all davinci configs and use it to setup the NAND controller in the davinci_nand mtd driver. Signed-off-by: Nick Thompson <nick.thompson@gefanuc.com>
* common: delete CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF and CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_STRTOULHeiko Schocher2009-12-08-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | There is more and more usage of printing 64bit values, so enable this feature generally, and delete the CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF and CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_STRTOUL defines. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>
* TI DaVinci: Remove references to SZ_xxSandeep Paulraj2009-10-13-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This patch removes the asm/sizes.h header file from being included in the DaVinci SOC configs. References to SZ_xx have been replaced by appropriate bit shifted values. Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com> Acked-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* NAND: Part 2: Fix warning Please define CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF...Wolfgang Denk2009-07-18-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Commit 8d2effea added a warning for configurations that use NAND without defining the (then necessary) CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF but failed to fix the affected boards. This patch covers the non-PPC boards that were missed in the previous patch (commit 170c1972). Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* Switched davinci_emac Ethernet driver to use newer APIBen Warren2009-06-15-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Added CONFIG_NET_MULTI to all Davinci boards Removed all calls to Davinci network driver from board code Added cpu_eth_init() to cpu/arm926ejs/cpu.c Signed-off-by: Ben Warren <biggerbadderben@gmail.com>
* davinci: display correct clock infoDavid Brownell2009-06-12-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Move the clock-rate dumping code into the cpu/.../davinci area where it should have been, enabled by CONFIG_DISPLAY_CPUINFO, updating the format and showing the DSP clock (where relevant). Switch boards to use the cpuinfo() hook for this stuff. Remove a few now-obsolete PLL #defines. Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net>
* davinci: split out some dm644x-specific bits from pscDavid Brownell2009-06-12-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Split out DaVinci DM6446-specific bits from more generic bits: - Add a CONFIG_SOC_DM644X. All current boards use DM6446 chips; DM6443 and DM6441 chips differ in available peripherals. - Move most DM644X-specific bits from psc.c to a new dm644x.c file, which is conditionally built. It provides device-specific setup. Plus minor coding style and comment updates with respect to the PSC. Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net>
* minor DaVinci clock cleanupDavid Brownell2009-04-24-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Minor cleanup to clock-related defines for DaVinci DM6446 boards: - CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ is unused; remove it. - CONFIG_SYS_NS16550_CLK must be the same as CONFIG_SYS_HZ_CLOCK On DM6446 both of those peripheral clocks actually come from the same source, the primary oscillator. Having them use the same symbol avoids bugs in the clone'n'modify development cycle. Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net>
* fix DaVinci NS16550_REG_SIZE regressionDavid Brownell2009-04-16-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Update the DaVinci DM6446 boards to use the new convention for CONFIG_SYS_NS16550_REG_SIZE ... the size hasn't changed from the original 4 bytes, but these chips are little-endian. (Resolves a regression added recently by the include/ns16550.h patch to "Unify structure declaration for registers". The code previously worked just fine because the registers were accessed as host-endian words, not as bytes.) Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net>

* NAND: rename NAND_MAX_CHIPS to CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPSWolfgang Grandegger2009-01-23-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch renames NAND_MAX_CHIPS to CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPS and changes the default from 8 to 1 for the legacy and the new MTD NAND layer. This allows to remove all NAND_MAX_CHIPS definitions in the board config files because none of the boards use multi chip support (NAND_MAX_CHIPS > 1) so far. The bamboo and the DU440 define #define NAND_MAX_CHIPS CONFIG_SYS_MAX_NAND_DEVICE but that's bogus and did not work anyhow.
