* i2c, soft-i2c: switch to new multibus/multiadapter supportHeiko Schocher2013-07-23-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | - added to soft_i2c driver new multibus/multiadpater support - adapted all config files, which uses this driver Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Cc: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Cc: Stephen Warren <swarren@wwwdotorg.org>
* bfin: Move gpio support for bf54x and bf60x into the generic driver folder.Sonic Zhang2013-05-13-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The gpio spec for bf54x and bf60x differ a lot from the old gpio driver for bf5xx. A lot of machine macros are used to accomodate both code in one gpio driver. This patch split the old gpio driver and move new gpio2 support to the generic gpio driver folder. - To enable gpio2 driver, macro CONFIG_ADI_GPIO2 should be defined in the board's config header file. - The gpio2 driver supports bf54x, bf60x and future ADI processors, while the older gpio driver supports bf50x, bf51x, bf52x, bf53x and bf561. - All blackfin specific gpio function names are replaced by the generic gpio APIs. * blackfin: Move blackfin serial driver out of blackfin arch folder.Sonic Zhang2013-05-13-0/+3
| | | | | | | | - Move blackfin serial driver to the generic driver folder. - Move blackfin serial headers to blackfin arch head folder. - Update the include path to blackfin serial header in start up code. Signed-off-by: Sonic Zhang <sonic.zhang@analog.com>
* blackfin: Move blackfin watchdog driver out of the blackfin arch folder.Sonic Zhang2013-05-13-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | - Enable hw_watchdog_init() in watchdog.h if CONFIG_HW_WATCHDOG is defined. - Move blackfin hw watchdog driver to the generic driver folder. - Call hw_watchdog_init() from blackfin board init code. - Reuse macro CONFIG_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT_MSECS - Update README.watchdog accordingly Signed-off-by: Sonic Zhang <sonic.zhang@analog.com>
* blackfin: Enable early print via the generic serial API.Sonic Zhang2013-05-13-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Remove blackfin specific implementation of the generic serial API when early print macro is defined. In BFIN_BOOT_BYPASS mode, don't call generic serial_puts, because early print in bypass mode is running before code binary is relocated to the link address. Signed-off-by: Sonic Zhang <sonic.zhang@analog.com>
* blackfin: bf60x: add board and headers files to support bf609Sonic Zhang2013-03-04-3/+5

* serial: Remove CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI from config filesMarek Vasut2012-10-15-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove any notion of CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI from board config files. Since CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI is now enabled by default, it is useless to specify this config option in the board config files. Therefore remove it. * serial: bfin: Flip the jtag serial console to CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTIMarek Vasut2012-10-15-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Rework the emulation of serial console via JTAG from simple ad-hoc implementation of serial port routines to CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI and enable CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI unconditionally for blackfin. In order for the JTAG serial console to take precedence over all other serial ports available in system, implement override for default_serial_console call returning this JTAG serial console. This brings in a bit of a growth of size, but eventually will allow us to unconditionally enable CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI throughout the whole U-Boot and maintain only one serial subsystem. * Blackfin: adi boards: enable pretty flash progress outputMike Frysinger2011-07-12-0/+5
| | | | | | | | For only ~150 bytes increase in size, we can get a nice flash progress indicator rather than just the boring dots (which don't tell too much about overall progress). So enable it for all ADI boards. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: adi boards: enable multi serial support by defaultMike Frysinger2011-07-12-0/+4

* Blackfin: bf548-ezkit: bump SPI flash size upMike Frysinger2010-10-02-1/+4
| | | | | | | | The current size used (256KiB) is smaller than the LDR created for the bf548-ezkit, so 'run update' doesn't work correctly. So bump up the size a bit by making this flexible per-board config. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: adi config: enable nand lock/unlock supportMike Frysinger2010-10-02-0/+1

* Blackfin: ADI settings: enable silent console supportMike Frysinger2010-01-17-0/+1
| | | | | | | Very little additional code overhead, and only works when the user sets an env var ahead of time, so default to on makes sense. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: update tiny board settings (voltage/default env)Harald Krapfenbauer2010-01-17-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | The tinyboards like to run at a little lower voltage than the default, and they prefer to boot over the network. For the latter, extend the common code a little to make this easier. Also fix the cm-bf527 env sector size while we're in here to reflect the flash that is actually in use. * common: delete CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF and CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_STRTOULHeiko Schocher2009-12-08-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | There is more and more usage of printing 64bit values, so enable this feature generally, and delete the CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF and CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_STRTOUL defines. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>
* Blackfin: update default console= settingsMike Frysinger2009-09-30-1/+1
| | | | | | | The Linux kernel has changed the way it numbers serial ports, so update the default command line to match it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: enable 64bit printf for nandMike Frysinger2009-09-02-0/+3
| | | | | | | | Since the NAND code now uses 64bit code, make sure we enable support for ADI Blackfin boards in printf to avoid the warning: nand_util.c:45:2: warning: #warning Please define CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF for correct output! Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: enable more network commands for ADI dev boardsRobin Getz2009-09-02-0/+10

* mtd: nand: new base driver for memory mapped nand devicesMike Frysinger2009-07-07-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | The BF537-STAMP Blackfin board had a driver for working with NAND devices that are simply memory mapped. Since there is nothing Blackfin specific about this, generalize the driver a bit so that everyone can leverage it. * Blackfin: make default ADI env more flexibleMike Frysinger2009-06-14-5/+25
| | | | | | | | Allow boards to easily override the root= and default bootcmd, allow people to tweak the file used in default bootcmds at runtime via one env var, and add a stock nandboot command. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: new spibootldr commandMike Frysinger2009-06-14-0/+1
| | | | | | | Newer Blackfin parts can an on-chip ROM that can boot LDRs over SPI flashes, so add a new 'spibootldr' command to take advantage of it. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Add support for Linux-like kallsysmsMike Frysinger2009-06-12-1/+1
| | | | | | | The kernel stores address<->symbol names in it so things can be decoded at runtime. Do it in U-Boot, and we get nice symbol decoding when crashing. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* Blackfin: add clkin_hz= to default kernel command line for ADI boardsMike Frysinger2009-03-24-0/+1

* Blackfin: unify common ADI board settingsMike Frysinger2009-03-24-0/+198
Rather than duplicate the same ADI settings in every ADI board, create a common ADI config header and have all ADI boards start using that. This will also make merging the ~10 boards I have to forward port a lot easier. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
