* Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> [trini: rastaban, am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot, am43xx_evm_ethboot updates] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* net: Fix NET_RANDOM_ETHADDR dependenciesMichal Simek2015-06-01-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | NET_RANDOM_ETHADDR depends on lib/rand.c. This patch adds dependency to Kconfig to ensure that library is also compiled. Remove the definitions from Blackfin boards' include/configs. Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* powerpc: a3m071: remove redundant CONFIG_SPL_* definesMasahiro Yamada2014-12-08-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The CPU directory of this board is arch/powerpc/cpu/mpc5xxx. Without the CONFIG_SPL_START_S_PATH and CONFIG_SPL_LDSCRIPT defines, the same start.o and u-boot-spl.lds are selected by default. * powerpc: mpc52xx: a3m071/a4m2k: Convert to generic boardStefan Roese2014-11-19-0/+2
| | | | | | | | a3m071 and a4m2k share one config header. So adding the generic board defines in this one file is enough to convert both boards. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Cc: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* include: remove CONFIG_SPL/CONFIG_TPL definition in config headersMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | Now CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL are defined in Kconfig. Remove the redundant definition in config headers. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* include: define CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL as 1Masahiro Yamada2014-07-30-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We are about to switch to Kconfig in the next commit. But there are something to get done beforehand. In Kconfig, include/generated/autoconf.h defines boolean CONFIG macros as 1. CONFIG_SPL and CONFIG_TPL, if defined, must be set to 1. Otherwise, when switching to Kconfig, the build log would be sprinkled with warning messages like this: warning: "CONFIG_SPL" redefined [enabled by default] Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* lib: rand: introduce new configs: CONFIG_LIB_RAND and CONFIG_LIB_HW_RANDPrzemyslaw Marczak2014-03-28-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | New configs: - CONFIG_LIB_RAND - to enable implementation of rand library in lib/rand.c - CONFIG_LIB_HW_RAND - to enable hardware based implementations of lib rand Other changes: - add CONFIG_LIB_RAND to boards configs which needs rand() - put only one rand.o dependency in lib/Makefile CONFIG_LIB_HW_RAND should be defined for drivers which implements rand library (declared in include/common.h): - void srand(unsigned int seed) - unsigned int rand(void) - unsigned int rand_r(unsigned int *seedp) Signed-off-by: Przemyslaw Marczak <p.marczak@samsung.com> Cc: Michael Walle <michael@walle.cc> Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com> Cc: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>
* powerpc: mpc5xxx: remove redundant CONFIG_MPC5xxx definitionMasahiro Yamada2014-01-24-2/+1
| | | | | | | We do not have to define CONFIG_MPC5xxx in board config headers (and start.S) because it is defined in arch/powerpc/cpu/mpc5xxx/config.mk. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>

* config: Add a default CONFIG_SYS_PROMPTRob Herring2013-11-04-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The definitions for CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT are varied with little reason other than to display the board name. Over half the definitions are "==> ", so make this the default. The rest of the boards remain unchanged to avoid breaking any external scripts expecting a certain prompt. * mpc5200: a3m071/a4m2k: Fix problem with increased global_data structStefan Roese2013-05-02-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The v2013.04 release has this patch set included: 5cb48582 "Add architecture-specific global data" With this, the global_data struct is now common and new variables have been added. Resulting in a bigger struct. Unfortunately the currently allocated 128 bytes are just a bit too small for this new struct. This patch now uses the automatically generated struct size instead to not run into this problem again. Please note that this problem might hit some other platforms which currently reserve a tight space of 128 bytes for the global_data struct! Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

* mpc5200: a4m2k: Implement custom "dynamic" watchdog supportStefan Roese2013-03-09-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | This patch adds a custom U-Boot command "wdogtoggle" which enables the external hardware watchdog toggling via an GPIO pin on the a4m2k board. After issuing this commands, the watchdog will be serviced by U-Boot so that the user can use all U-Boot commands from the prompt. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* mpc5200: Add a4m2k board portStefan Roese2013-03-09-47/+66
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds the a4m2k MPC5200B board port. Its a derivate of the a3m071 board with only minor changes. Additionally this patch includes some clean-up changes: - Remove I2C support from a3m071 as its unused - Fix/enhance default env variables - Fix some comments - Add newly introduced CONFIG_SPL_TARGET to automatically build "u-boot-img.bin" - Fix dtb patching in READ desciption for SPL Linux booting: "fdt chosen" needs to get called to patch/create the chosen node. - Add missing call to spl_board_init(): Define CONFIG_SPL_BOARD_INIT so that spl_board_init() will get called in the SPL version.
