* powerpc: Cleanup BOOTFLAG_* referencesPeter Tyser2010-10-18-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Now that warm booting is not supported, there isn't a need for the BOOTFLAG_COLD and BOOTFLAG_WARM defines, so remove them. Note that this change makes the board info bd_bootflags field useless. It will always be set to 0, but we leave it around so that we don't break the board info structure that some OSes are expecting to be passed from U-Boot. * Makefile: move all Power Architecture boards into boards.cfgWolfgang Denk2010-10-18-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Clean up Makefile, and drop a lot of the config.mk files on the way. We now also automatically pick all boards that are listed in boards.cfg (and with all configurations), so we can drop the redundant entries from MAKEALL to avoid building these twice. * net ppc: fix ethernet device names with spacesHeiko Schocher2010-08-09-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | since commit 1384f3bb8a4f9066805b70c1418eda78ecb73fdd ethernet names with spaces drop a Warning: eth device name has a space! message. This patch fix it for: - "FEC ETHERNET" devices found on mpc512x, mpc5xxx, mpc8xx and mpc8220 boards. renamed to "FEC". - "SCC ETHERNET" devices found on mpc8xx, mpc82xx based boards. Renamed to "SCC". - "HDLC ETHERNET" devices found on mpc8xx boards Renamed to "HDLC" - "FCC ETHERNET" devices found on mpc8260 and mpc85xx based boards. Renamed to "FCC" Tested on the kup4k board. * TQM8xx: enable device tree support on all TQM8xx based boards.Heiko Schocher2010-03-12-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Also enable support for CONFIG_HWCONFIG because we use this for configuring if this hardware has a FEC or not. syntax: hwconfig=fec:on if hardware has an fec hwconfig=fec:off if hardware has no fec Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* TQM8xx* boards: set larger SMC Rx buffer lenWolfgang Denk2009-07-28-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Commit 2b3f12c2 added support for configurable SMC Rx buffer length on 8xx systems. Enable this feature on TQM8xx* based boards. This fixes the problem that pasting text in the middle of a line (i. e. inserting in edit mode) did not work - only the first two characters got inserted, the rest was lost. * TQM885D: Exchanged SDRAM timing by a more relaxed timing.Jens Gehrlein2007-12-27-1/+1
| | | | | | | | CAS-Latency=2, Write Recovery Time tWR=2 The max. supported bus frequency is 66 MHz. Therefore, changed threshold to switch from 1:1 mode to 2:1 from 80 MHz to 66 MHz. Signed-off-by: Martin Krause <martin.krause@tqs.de>
* TQM885D: use calculated cpuclk instead of measuring itMartin Krause2007-12-27-7/+0
| | | | | | | | | On the TQM885D the measurement of cpuclk with the PIT reference timer ist not necessary. Since all module variants use the same external 10 MHz oscillator, the cpuclk only depends on the PLL configuration - which is readable by software. * TQM885D: fix SDRAM refreshJens Gehrlein2007-12-27-16/+20
| | | | | | | | | | | | At 133 MHz the current SDRAM refresh rate is too fast (measured 4 * 1.17 us). CFG_MAMR_PTA changes from 39 to 128. This result in a refresh rate of 4 * 7.8 us at the default clock 66 MHz. At 133 MHz the value will be then 4 * 3.8 us. This is a compromise until a new method is found to adjust the refresh rate.
