* Fix printf() format problems with configurable promptsWolfgang Denk2008-07-31-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | U-Boot allows for configurable prompt strings using the CONFIG_AUTOBOOT_PROMPT resp. CONFIG_MENUPROMPT definitions. So far, the assumption was that any such user defined problts would contain exactly one "%d" format specifier. But some boards did not. To allow for flexible boot prompts without adding too complex code we now allow to specify the whole list of printf() arguments in the user definition. This is powerful, but requires a responsible user who really understands what he is doing, as he needs to know for exanple which variables are available in the respective context. * ppc4xx: Cleanup CPCI405 variant's config fileMatthias Fuchs2008-06-03-33/+0
| | | | | | | | This patch removes some dead code from CPCI405 board's config files. JFFS2 support is also removed. It's not used and CPCI4052 does not build anymore without some size reduction. Signed-off-by: Matthias Fuchs <matthias.fuchs@esd-electronics.com>
* ppc4xx: Remove cache definition from 4xx board config filesStefan Roese2007-10-31-10/+0
| | | | | | | All 4xx board config files don't need the cache definitions anymore. These are now defined in common headers. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

| | | | | | | | This patch removes the CFG_PCI_PRE_INIT option completely, since it's not needed anymore with the patch from Matthias Fuchs with the "weak" pci_pre_init() implementation. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>

* Add common (with Linux) MTD partition scheme and "mtdparts" commandWolfgang Denk2005-08-08-2/+20
| | | | | | | | Old, obsolete and duplicated code was cleaned up and replace by the new partitioning method. There are two possible approaches now: * define a single, static partition * use mtdparts command line option and dynamic partitioning Default is static partitioning.
