| | | | | | | | | | | | | - Enable below macro define for all chip. Firstly, the marcos will be used in later version for later i.MX. Secondly, fix the build error in the former i.MX series chip before i.MX6. #define PHY_MIPSCR_LINK_UP (0x1 << 10) #define PHY_MIPSCR_SPEED_MASK (0x3 << 14) #define PHY_MIPSCR_1000M (0x2 << 14) #define PHY_MIPSCR_100M (0x1 << 14) #define PHY_MIPSCR_FULL_DUPLEX (0x1 << 13) Signed-off-by: Fugang Duan <B38611@freescale.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | The serial of patches adds the initial support for mx6dl sabra sd board: - DDR3 400MHz@64bit, 1G, 256M*4 - SD/MMC basic operations - Add PIN/IOMUX support for mmx6dl sabresd. - Ethernet is ok for 100/1000Mbps. - OTP fuse Signed-off-by: Fugang Duan <B38611@freescale.com>
* ENGR00176347-9 fec : increase wait time for phy linkFugang Duan2012-03-13-4/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | - remove the excrescent code in enet_board_init function. - KSZ9021 phy auto-negotiation in mx6solo sabreauto RevA is used to establish link with the remote hub or switch. In general, the negotiation time is about 3-5 senconds But connecting to Gbps hub, the time is range from 8s to 15s. So, changing the MAX link waiting time to 20s. According to repetitious tests, solo ARD ethernet is ok in 100Mbps environment. It is not stable in 1000Mbps mode. Signed-off-by: Fugang Duan <B38611@freescale.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | In precode, PHY forced to work at 100M even connect to 1G switch. In this commit, let PHY auto negotiate it working speed. Enet tx work at store-and-forward mode. BTW, AR8031 take quite a long time, about 1.6s from negotiation to link up. we have to wait and then set ENET correctly. Signed-off-by: Zeng Zhaoming <b32542@freescale.com>
* ENGR00139198: iMX61 uBoot add ENET supportZeng Zhaoming2011-06-27-5/+69
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add ENET and AR8031 PHY support to uboot. To make it works on sabreauto, need do following changes: 1. rework phy to output 125M clock from CLK_25M signal, and the 125M clock input to SoC as reference clock to generate RGMII_TXC clock. 2. Enable TXC delay in PHY debug register. 3. set ENET working in RMII mode. 4. set ENET working at 1000M or 100M/10M. 5. set ENET TX fifo to maximum to avoid underrun error. 6. force AR8031 PHY working at 100M Signed-off-by: Anson Huang <b20788@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Zeng Zhaoming <b32542@freescale.com>
* ENGR00137713 MX53 Uboot SMSC Fix order in which mac addr bytes are read from IIMAnish Trivedi2011-01-07-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Given that an example mac addr is 00-11-22-33-44-55, it should be fused into the IIM at the following locations: 0xC24 - 00 0xC28 - 11 0xC2C - 22 0xC30 - 33 0xC34 - 44 0xC38 - 55 Then, when reading the bytes into a mac array, it should be read as follows: mac[0] - 00 mac[1] - 11 mac[2] - 22 mac[3] - 33 mac[4] - 44 mac[5] - 55 Previously, it was read into the array in reverse order. * tsec: Wait for auto-negotiation to complete without linkPeter Tyser2009-08-21-10/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Previously, waiting for auto-negotiation would only occur if a valid link had been detected. Problems arose when attempting to use a tsec immediately after bootup but before link was achieved, eg: => dhcp Auto-neg error, defaulting to 10BT/HD eTSEC1: No link. Auto-neg error, defaulting to 10BT/HD eTSEC2: No link. => With this patch applied the same operation as above resulted in: => dhcp Waiting for PHY auto negotiation to complete. done Enet starting in 1000BT/FD Speed: 1000, full duplex Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com> Signed-off-by: Ben Warren <biggerbadderben@gmail.com>
* arm: kirkwood: See to it that sent data is 8-byte alignedSimon Kagstrom2009-08-21-4/+18
| | | | | | | | | | U-boot might use non-8-byte-aligned addresses for sending data, which the kwgbe_send doesn't accept (bootp does this for me). This patch copies the data to be sent to a malloced temporary buffer if it is non-aligned. * Wait for the link to come up on kirkwood network initSimon Kagstrom2009-08-21-6/+14
| | | | | | | | | | This patch makes the device wait for up to 5 seconds for the link to come up, similar to what many of the other network drivers do. This avoids confusing situations where, e.g., a tftp fails when initiated early after U-boot has started (before the link has come up). * Dual-license IBM code contributionsJosh Boyer2009-08-09-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | It was brought to our attention that U-Boot contains code derived from the IBM OpenBIOS source code originally provided with some of the older PowerPC 4xx development boards. As a result, the original license of this code has been carried in the various files for a number of years in the U-Boot project. IBM is dual-licensing the IBM code contributions already present in U-Boot under either the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2, or the original code license already present.
