* net: Remove all references to CONFIG_ETHADDR and friendsJoe Hershberger2015-05-19-7/+3
| | | | | | | | | | We really don't want boards defining fixed MAC addresses in their config so we just remove the option to set it in a fixed way. If you must have a MAC address that was not provisioned, then use the random MAC address functionality. * net: cosmetic: Fix var naming net <-> eth driversJoe Hershberger2015-04-18-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Update the naming convention used in the network stack functions and variables that Ethernet drivers use to interact with it. This cleans up the temporary hacks that were added to this interface along with the DM support. This patch has a few remaining checkpatch.pl failures that would be out of the scope of this patch to fix (drivers that are in gross violation of checkpatch.pl). * net: Fix remaining API interface breakageJoe Hershberger2012-05-23-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | These are all the files which use the API incorrectly but did not get built using MAKEALL -a powerpc|arm. I have no compiler for them, but the remaining issues should be far less than without this patch. Any outstanding issues are left to the maintainers of boards that use these drivers. * SPARC/LEON3: Added GRETH Ethernet 10/100/1000 driver.Daniel Hellstrom2008-03-30-0/+661
GRETH is an Ethernet 10/100 or 10/100/1000 MAC with out without a debug link (EDCL). The GRETH core is documented in GRIP.pdf available at www.gaisler.com. If the GRETH has GigaBit support (GBIT, Scatter gather, checksum offloading etc.) can be determined by a bit in the control register. The GBIT MAC is supported by operating in GRTEH 10/100 legacy mode. Signed-off-by: Daniel Hellstrom <daniel@gaisler.com> Signed-off-by: Ben Warren <biggerbadderben@gmail.com>
