| | | | | | | | In anticipation of Tegra3 support, continue removing/renaming Tegra2-specific files. No functional changes (yet). Updated copyrights to 2012. Signed-off-by: Tom Warren <twarren@nvidia.com>
* sandbox: gpio: add basic driver for simulating GPIOsSimon Glass2012-03-12-0/+1
| | | | | | | | This provides a way of simulating GPIOs by setting values which are seen by the normal gpio_get/set_value() calls. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

| * gpio: Add driver for Altera's PIO coreJoachim Foerster2011-10-28-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This driver may handle multiple PIO cores and thus needs to be setup by calling the altera_pio_init() function within the early board setup routine. The driver comes with some extras, see below the copyleft header. * gpio: Add GPIO driver framework for Marvell SoCsAjay Bhargav2011-09-30-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | This patch adds generic GPIO driver framework support for Marvell SoCs. To enable GPIO driver define CONFIG_MARVELL_GPIO and for GPIO commands define CONFIG_CMD_GPIO in your board configuration file. Signed-off-by: Ajay Bhargav <ajay.bhargav@einfochips.com>
* DA8xx: add generic GPIO driverLaurence Withers2011-08-03-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Add a generic GPIO driver for the DaVinci DA8xx processors. It is turned on by defining CONFIG_DA8XX_GPIO and fulfills the generic GPIO interface specified in <asm/gpio.h> . The driver has support for both manipulating GPIO pins as well as automatically configuring the pin multiplexor registers to set the pin function to GPIO. * gpio: Add Multi-Function-Pin configuration driver for Marvell SoCsPrafulla Wadaskar2010-12-16-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Most of the Marvell SoCs has Multi Function Pin (MFP) configuration registers For ex. ARMADA100. These registers are programmed to expose the specific functionality associated with respective SoC Pins This driver provides configuration APIs, using them, configuration need to be done in board specific code for ex- following code configures MFPs 107 and 108 for UART_TX/RX functionality int board_early_init_f(void) { u32 mfp_cfg[] = { /* Console on UART1 */ MFP107_UART1_RXD, MFP108_UART1_TXD, MFP_EOC /*End of configureation*/ }; /* configure MFP's */ mfp_config(mfp_cfg); return 0; } Signed-off-by: Prafulla Wadaskar <prafulla@marvell.com>
* Switch from archive libraries to partial linkingSebastien Carlier2010-11-17-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Before this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbols found in archive libraries when linking with recent versions of binutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does not extract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols". This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) instead of creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate in linking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended. This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake function cmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) is inspired. The name of each former library archive is preserved except for extensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updates references accordingly where needed, in particular in some linker scripts. This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features but include source files that depend these disabled features in the build, resulting in undefined symbols. Known such cases include: - disabling CMD_NET but not CMD_NFS; - enabling CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT but not CONFIG_QE. Signed-off-by: Sebastien Carlier <sebastien.carlier@gmail.com>
* Use common function to set GPIOs for MX3 and MX5Stefano Babic2010-09-29-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The patch adds support for setting gpios to the MX51 processor and change name to the corresponding functions for MX31. In this way, it is possible to get rid of nasty #ifdef switches related to the processor type. Signed-off-by: Stefano Babic <sbabic@denx.de>
* ARMV7: S5P: rename from CONFIG_S5PC1XX to CONFIG_S5PMinkyu Kang2010-08-26-1/+1

* Add support for PCA953x I2C gpio devicesPeter Tyser2008-12-19-0/+47
Initial support for NXP's 4 and 8 bit I2C gpio expanders (eg pca9537, pca9557, etc). The CONFIG_PCA953X define enables support for the devices while the CONFIG_CMD_PCA953X define enables the pca953x command. The CONFIG_CMD_PCA953X_INFO define enables an 'info' sub-command which provides summary information for the given pca953x device. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com>
