* x86: ivybridge: Add early LPC init so that serial worksSimon Glass2014-11-21-0/+23
| | | | | | | | The PCH (Platform Controller Hub) includes an LPC (Low Pin Count) device which provides a serial port. This is accessible on Chromebooks, so enable it early in the boot process. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: spi: Add soft_spi implementationSimon Glass2014-10-22-0/+34
| | | | | | | | Add a new implementation of soft_spi that uses device tree to specify the GPIOs. This will replace soft_spi_legacy for boards which use driver model. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Jagannadha Sutradharudu Teki <jagannadh.teki@gmail.com>
* sandbox: dts: Add a SPI device and cros_ec deviceSimon Glass2014-10-22-0/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | Add a SPI device which can be used for testing SPI flash features in sandbox. Also add a cros_ec device since with driver model the Chrome OS EC emulation will not otherwise be available. | * dm: serial: Add driver model support for ns16550Simon Glass2014-09-10-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add driver model support so that ns16550 can support operation both with and without driver model. The driver needs a clock frequency so cannot stand alone unfortunately. The clock frequency must be provided by a separate driver. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
| * sandbox: dts: Add a serial console nodeSimon Glass2014-09-10-0/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the sandbox device tree is provided to U-Boot (with the -d flag) then it will use the device tree version in preference to the built-in device. The only difference is the colour. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* | video: exynos_fimd: Add framework to disable FIMD sysmmuAjay Kumar2014-09-05-0/+6
|/ | | | | | | | | | | On Exynos5420 and newer versions, the FIMD sysmmus are in "on state" by default. We have to disable them in order to make FIMD DMA work. This patch adds the required framework to exynos_fimd driver, and disables FIMD sysmmu on Exynos5420. * power: Add support for TPS65090 PMU chip.Tom Wai-Hong Tam2014-05-28-0/+139
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds driver support for the TPS65090 PMU. Support includes hooking into the pmic infrastructure so that the pmic commands can be used on the console. The TPS65090 supports the following functionality: - fet enable/disable/querying - getting and setting of charge state Even though it is connected to the pmic infrastructure it does not hook into the pmic charging charging infrastructure. The device tree binding is from Linux, but only a small subset of functionality is supported. | * sandbox: Add LCD driverSimon Glass2014-03-17-0/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add a simple LCD driver which uses SDL to display the image. We update the image regularly, while still providing for reasonable performance. Adjust the common lcd code to support sandbox. For command-line runs we do not want the LCD to be displayed, so add a --show_lcd option to enable it. * | lcd: add functions to set up simplefb device treeStephen Warren2013-06-05-0/+25
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | simple-framebuffer is a new device tree binding that describes a pre- configured frame-buffer memory region and its format. The Linux kernel contains a driver that supports this binding. Implement functions to create a DT node (or fill in an existing node) with parameters that describe the framebuffer format that U-Boot is using. This will be immediately used by the Raspberry Pi board in U-Boot, and likely will be used by the Samsung ARM ChromeBook support soon too. It could well be used by many other boards (e.g. Tegra boards with built-in LCD panels, which aren't yet supported by the Linux kernel). * tegra: fdt: Add LCD definitions for TegraSimon Glass2012-11-19-0/+127
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add LCD definitions and also a proposed binding for LCD displays. The PWM is as per what will likely be committed to linux-next soon. The displaymode binding comes from a proposal here: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/dri-devel/2012-July/024875.html The panel binding is new, and fills a need to specify the panel timings and other tegra-specific information. Should a binding appear that allows the pwm to handle this automatically, we can revisit this. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Tom Warren <twarren@nvidia.com>
* tegra: fdt: Add pwm binding and nodeSimon Glass2012-11-19-0/+18
| | | | | | | | | This binding will apparently soon be in linux-next. Bring it in now since we need to do something, and may as well try to target what Linux will have. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Tom Warren <twarren@nvidia.com>

* tegra: fdt: Add clock bindingsSimon Glass2012-03-29-0/+207
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds a basic binding for the oscillator and peripheral clocks. The second cell is the clock number, defined as the bit number within the clock enable register if the peripheral clock. This uses the RFC clock bindings from Grant Likely so may change later: https://lkml.org/lkml/2011/12/12/498 It is taken from Stephen Warren's patch here: http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/141359/ Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Tom Warren <twarren@nvidia.com>
