* Move defaults from config_cmd_default.h to KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | This sets the default commands Kconfig to match include/config_cmd_default.h commands in the common/Kconfig and removes them from include/configs. * Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. Those appear to be: SPIFLASH DISPLAY_BOARDINFO Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> [trini: rastaban, am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot, am43xx_evm_ethboot updates, drop DM_USB from MSI_Primo81 as USB_MUSB_SUNXI isn't converted yet to DM] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* Clean all defconfigs with savedefconfigJoe Hershberger2015-05-12-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In order to reduce merge conflicts and to maintain the simplest possible defconfig files, we should be using the savedefconfig feature of Kconfig every time a new feature is added. This keeps the defconfig settings to a minimum (only those things not default) and keeps them in the same order as the Kconfig options. * MIPS: kconfig: add options for vct board variant selectDaniel Schwierzeck2014-11-01-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | The vct board can be built with various variants which are configured via CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS. This is deprecated. Thus add new Kconfig options for those board variants. Signed-off-by: Daniel Schwierzeck <daniel.schwierzeck@gmail.com> Acked-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
* MIPS: kconfig: add options for endianess selectDaniel Schwierzeck2014-11-01-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Add new Kconfig option to let the user select the targets endianess. Each target have to select SUPPORTS_BIG_ENDIAN and/or SUPPORTS_LITTLE_ENDIAN to indicate which endianess is supported. Signed-off-by: Daniel Schwierzeck <daniel.schwierzeck@gmail.com>
* kconfig: move CONFIG_CMD_CRC32 to KconfigMasahiro Yamada2014-09-24-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since CONFIG_CMD_CRC32 is defined in config_cmd_defaults.h, it is enabled for all the boards except the ones undefining it explicitly: kwb tseries_mmc tseries_nand tseries_spi vct_platinum_onenand_small vct_platinum_small vct_platinumavc_onenand_small vct_platinumavc_small vct_premium_onenand_small vct_premium_small The default value of this config option should be "y" and "# CONFIG_CMD_CRC32 is not set" should be added for those exceptions. * kconfig: add board Kconfig and defconfig filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+3
This commit adds: - arch/${ARCH}/Kconfig provide a menu to select target boards - board/${VENDOR}/${BOARD}/Kconfig or board/${BOARD}/Kconfig set CONFIG macros to the appropriate values for each board - configs/${TARGET_BOARD}_defconfig default setting of each board (This commit was automatically generated by a conversion script based on boards.cfg) In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory. It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the command line for cross compile. But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line. Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done. That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a single directory ./configs/.
