* Enable DISTRO_DEFAULT on platforms that missed it beforeTom Rini2016-12-03-9/+1
| | | | | | | | | A number of platforms had been using the distro default feature before it was moved to Kconfig but did not enable the new Kconfig option when it was enabled. This caused a regression in terms of features and this introduces breakage when more things move to Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

* dm: mmc: Enable DM_MMC_OPS by default with DM_MMCSimon Glass2016-10-11-0/+1
| | | | | | | These two options go together and it is best to do the conversion in one step. So enable DM_MMC_OPS by default if DM_MMC is enabled. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

* Kconfig: Separate AM33XX SOC config from target board configAndrew F. Davis2016-10-02-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The config option AM33XX is used in several boards and should be defined as a stand-alone option for this SOC. We break this out from target boards that use this SoC and common headers then enable AM33XX on in all the boards that used these targets to eliminate any functional change with this patch. This is similar to what has already been done in 9de852642cae ("arm: Kconfig: Add support for AM43xx SoC specific Kconfig") and is done for the same reasons. Signed-off-by: Andrew F. Make all of the entries in drivers/dfu/Kconfig depend on CMD_DFU and add options for all of the back end choices that DFU can make use of. * usb: gadget: Move CONFIG_USB_GADGET to KconfigSam Protsenko2016-03-25-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The description was borrowed from kernel. "tristate" type was changed to "bool" (I believe we don't support modules for u-boot yet, right?). CONFIG_USB_GADGET requires CONFIG_USB to be defined too, so add it along as well. * Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass2016-03-14-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. * Move default y configs out of arch/board KconfigJoe Hershberger2015-06-25-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. * Clean all defconfigs with savedefconfigJoe Hershberger2015-05-12-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In order to reduce merge conflicts and to maintain the simplest possible defconfig files, we should be using the savedefconfig feature of Kconfig every time a new feature is added. This keeps the defconfig settings to a minimum (only those things not default) and keeps them in the same order as the Kconfig options. * ti: armv7: Move SPL SDRAM init to the right place, drop unused CONFIG_SPL_STACKSimon Glass2015-03-04-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently in some cases SDRAM init requires global_data to be available and soon this will not be available prior to board_init_f(). Adjust the code paths in these cases to be correct. In some cases we had the SPL stack be in DDR as we might have large stacks (due to Falcon Mode + Environment). In these cases switch to CONFIG_SPL_STACK_R. In other cases we had simply been setting CONFIG_SPL_STACK into SRAM. In these cases we no longer need to (CONFIG_SYS_INIT_SP_ADDR is used and is also in SRAM) so drop those lines. * kconfig: add board Kconfig and defconfig filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+4
This commit adds: - arch/${ARCH}/Kconfig provide a menu to select target boards - board/${VENDOR}/${BOARD}/Kconfig or board/${BOARD}/Kconfig set CONFIG macros to the appropriate values for each board - configs/${TARGET_BOARD}_defconfig default setting of each board (This commit was automatically generated by a conversion script based on boards.cfg) In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory. It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the command line for cross compile. But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line. Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done. That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a single directory ./configs/.
