* Move all command code into its own directorySimon Glass2016-01-25-34/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are a lot of unrelated files in common, including all of the commands. Moving them into their own directory makes them easier to find and is more logical. Some commands include non-command code, such as cmd_scsi.c. This should be sorted out at some point so that the function can be enabled with or without the associated command. Unfortunately, with m68k I get this error: m68k: + M5329AFEE +arch/m68k/cpu/mcf532x/start.o: In function `_start': +arch/m68k/cpu/mcf532x/start.S:159:(.text+0x452): relocation truncated to fit: R_68K_PC16 against symbol `board_init_f' defined in .text.board_init_f section in common/built-in.o I hope someone can shed some light on what this means. I hope it isn't depending on the position of code in the image. * update: tftp: dfu: Extend update_tftp() function to support DFULukasz Majewski2015-09-07-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This code allows using DFU defined mediums for storing data received via TFTP protocol. It reuses and preserves functionality of legacy code at common/update.c. The update_tftp() function now accepts parameters - namely medium device name and its number (e.g. mmc 1). Without this information passed old behavior is preserved. * common/cmd_fitupd.c: restore corrupted fileWolfgang Denk2014-11-07-9/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | This file got corrupted by the automatic editin of commit 1a45966 "Add GPL-2.0+ SPDX-License-Identifier to source files"; restore the opiginal content and manually insert the SPDX ID. The bug was detected by running cppcheck, which reported: [common/cmd_fitupd.c:8]: (error) Invalid number of character ({) when these macros are defined: 'CONFIG_UPDATE_TFTP'. * Convert cmd_usage() calls in common to use a return valueSimon Glass2012-03-06-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Change all files in common/ to use CMD_RET_USAGE instead of calling cmd_usage() directly. I'm not completely sure about this patch since the code since impact is small (100 byte or so on ARM) and it might need splitting into smaller patches. But for now here it is. * add command fitupd to run an update from a FIT imageAndreas Pretzsch2011-07-26-0/+36
Command calls update_tftp() analogous to automatic update described in doc/README.update. Usage: fitupd [addr] - run update from FIT image at addr or from tftp 'updatefile' Signed-off-by: Andreas Pretzsch <apr@cn-eng.de>
