| | | | | | | | | | | | | When I tried to deactivate VIDEO support for the Wandboard, it still tried to initialize the Framebuffer and so on. That is the reason for the added ifdefs. CONFIG_VIDEO is enabled in the configuration as default and therefore nothing changes for the default user. The structs mx6dl_i2c2_pad_info and mx6q_i2c2_pad_info are only available when CONFIG_IPUV3 are set and should not be tried to access, when that define is not defined. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since commit ce412b79e7255770 ("drivers: net: phy: atheros: add separate config for AR8031") ethernet does not work on mx6sabresd. This commit correctly assigns ar8031_config() as the configuration function for AR8031 in the same way as done in the Linux kernel. However, on wandboard design we need some additional configuration, such as enabling the 125 MHz AR8031 output that needs to be done in the board file. This also aligns with the same method that the kernel performs the AR8031 fixup in arch/arm/mach-imx/mach-imx6q.c. So do as suggested and also add a 100us delay after deasserting the reset line to guarantee that the PHY ID can be read correctly and the Atheros 8031 PHY driver can be loaded automatically. After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect relevant information for a board into a single place. This is also what is done on Linux and what has already been done for i.MX51. By the way, remove some unused pad control definitions. There is no change of behavior. Note that SPI_PAD_CTRL was defined by several boards with a pull value, but without PKE or PUE, which means that no pull was actually enabled in the pad. This might be a bug in those boards, but this patch does not change the behavior, so it just removes the meaningless pull value from those definitions. In case where both host controller and card support 8bit transfers, they agree to communicate on 8bit interface while some boards support only 4bit interface. Due to this reason the mmc 8bit default mode fails on these boards. To rectify this, define maximum bus width supported by these boards (4bit). If max_bus_width is not defined, it is 0 by default and 8bit width support will be enabled in host capabilities otherwise host capabilities are modified accordingly. It is tested with a MMCplus card.
