* sunxi: Fix gmac not working due to cpu_eth_init no longer being calledHans de Goede2016-03-23-13/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | cpu_eth_init is no longer called for dm enabled eth drivers, this was causing the sunxi gmac eth controller to no longer work in u-boot. This commit fixes this by calling the clock, reset and pinmux setup function from s_init() and enabling the phy power pin (if any) from board_init(). The enabling of phy power cannot be done from s_init because it uses dm and dm is not ready yet at this point. Note that the mdelay is dropped as the phy gets enabled much earlier now, so it is no longer needed. * sunxi: Introduce a hidden SUNXI_GEN_SUNxI Kconfig boolHans de Goede2015-05-04-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | sun6i and newer (derived) SoCs such as the sun8i-a23, sun8i-a33 and sun9i have a various things in common, like having separate ahb reset control registers, the SID living inside the pmic, custom pmic busses, new style watchdog, etc. This commit introduces a new hidden SUNXI_GEN_SUN6I Kconfig bool which can be used to check for these features avoiding the need for an ever growing list of "#if defined CONFIG_MACH_SUN?I" conditionals as we add support for more "new style" sunxi SoCs. Note that this commit changes the behavior of the gmac and hdmi code for sun8i and the upcoming sun9i devices. This does not matter as sun8i does not have gmac nor hdmi, and sun9i has new hardware-blocks for these so the old code will not work there. Also this is intentional as if a sun8i / sun9i variant which does use the old hwblocks shows up then the GEN_SUN6I code paths will be the right ones to use. For completeness this also adds a SUNXI_GEN_SUN4I bool for A10/A13/A20. Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Acked-by: Ian Campbell <ijc@hellion.org.uk>
* dm: sunxi: Support driver model for EthernetSimon Glass2015-04-18-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | Adjust the Ethernet initialisation code to support driver model. It is no-longer necessary to call designware_initialize(). The device will be probed when it is used. The PHY type and GMAC base will come from the device tree. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* sunxi: GPIO pin mux hardware-feature-specific function index definesPaul Kocialkowski2015-04-15-11/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | Each hardware feature exposed through the GPIO pin mux is usually using the same function index (for a given port), so there is no need to define one value per pin: one value per hardware feature per port is sufficient, avoids duplication and makes everything easier to understand. * sun7i: Add new Bananapro board / defconfigHans de Goede2015-01-14-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Add support for the new Bananapro A20 development board from lemaker.org. This board features 1G RAM, 2 USB A receptacles, 1 micro USB receptacle for OTG, 1 micro USB receptacle for power, HDMI, sata, Gbit ethernet, ir receiver, 3.5 mm jack for a/v out, on board microphone, 40 gpio pins and sdio wifi. * sunxi: Fix gmac not working reliable on the BananapiHans de Goede2014-10-08-0/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In order for the gmac nic to work reliable on the Bananapi, we need to set bits 10-12 GTXDC "GMAC Transmit Clock Delay Chain" of the GMAC clk register (0x01c20164) to 3. Without this about 9 out of 10 ethernet packets get lost, with this setting there is no packet loss. So far setting these bits is only necessary on the Bananapi, so this commit solves this with a bit of #ifdef CONFIG_BANANAPI code. If in the future we need to do something similar for other boards, we can create a specific CONFIG_FOO option for this then. * sunxi: Add support for using MII phy-s with the GMAC nicChen-Yu Tsai2014-07-06-0/+11
| | | | | | | | | | Many A20 boards (ie Cubieboard2, A20-OLinuXino_MICRO) use an 100 Mbit MII phy together with the GMAC nic found in the A20 SoC, add support for this (this will get used when we add these boards in a later patch).
