* dm: exynos: Make sure that GPIOs are requestedSimon Glass2014-10-22-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | With driver model GPIOs must be requested before use. Make sure this is done correctly. (Note that the soft SPI part of universal is omitted, since this driver is about to be replaced with a driver-model-aware version) Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: exynos: Tidy up GPIO headersSimon Glass2014-10-22-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | The wrong header is being included, thus requiring the code to re-declare the generic GPIO interface in each GPIO header. Fix this. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* kconfig: remove redundant "string" type in arch and board KconfigsMasahiro Yamada2014-09-13-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now the types of CONFIG_SYS_{ARCH, CPU, SOC, VENDOR, BOARD, CONFIG_NAME} are specified in arch/Kconfig. We can delete the ones in arch and board Kconfig files. This commit can be easily reproduced by the following command: find . -name Kconfig -a ! -path ./arch/Kconfig | xargs sed -i -e ' /config[[:space:]]SYS_\(ARCH\|CPU\|SOC\|\VENDOR\|BOARD\|CONFIG_NAME\)/ { N s/\n[[:space:]]*string// } ' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>
* exynos: kconfig: move board select menu and common settingsMasahiro Yamada2014-08-30-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Becuase the board select menu in arch/arm/Kconfig is too big, move the Exynos board select menu to exynos/Kconfig. Consolidate also common settings (CONFIG_SYS_CPU="armv7" and CONFIG_SYS_SOC="exynos"). Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com> Acked-by: Minkyu Kang <mk7.kang@samsung.com>
* Add board MAINTAINERS filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers information from it. The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script. After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect relevant information for a board into a single place. TODO: Modify get_maintainer.pl to scan multiple MAINTAINERS files. * kconfig: add board Kconfig and defconfig filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds: - arch/${ARCH}/Kconfig provide a menu to select target boards - board/${VENDOR}/${BOARD}/Kconfig or board/${BOARD}/Kconfig set CONFIG macros to the appropriate values for each board - configs/${TARGET_BOARD}_defconfig default setting of each board (This commit was automatically generated by a conversion script based on boards.cfg) In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory. It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the command line for cross compile. But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line. Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done. That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a single directory ./configs/. | * S5P: Exynos: Add GPIO pin numbering and rename definitionsAkshay Saraswat2014-05-13-28/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch includes following changes : * Adds gpio pin numbering support for EXYNOS SOCs. To have consistent 0..n-1 GPIO numbering the banks are divided into different parts where ever they have holes in them. * Rename GPIO definitions from GPIO_... to S5P_GPIO_... These changes were done to enable cmd_gpio for EXYNOS and cmd_gpio has GPIO_INPUT same as s5p_gpio driver and hence getting a error during compilation. * Adds support for name to gpio conversion in s5p_gpio to enable gpio command EXYNOS SoCs. Function has been added to asm/gpio.h to decode the input gpio name to gpio number. * | usb: dfu: fix boards wo USB cable detectionMateusz Zalega2014-05-05-7/+0
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Former usb_cable_connected() patch broke compilation of boards which do not support this feature. I've renamed usb_cable_connected() to g_dnl_usb_cable_connected() and added its default implementation to gadget downloader driver code. There's only one driver of this kind and it's unlikely there'll be another, so there's no point in keeping it in /common. Previously this function was declared in usb.h. I've moved it, since it's more appropriate to keep it in g_dnl.h - usb.h seems to be intended for USB host implementation. Existing code, confronted with default -EOPNOTSUPP return value, continues as if the cable was connected. CONFIG_USB_CABLE_CHECK was removed. * i2c:samsung: Adjust Trats, GONI and Universal_c210 boards to work with new ↵Łukasz Majewski2013-08-20-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I2C framework New I2C framework, introduced after v2013.07 final release, imposed I2C code adjustment for some Samsung boards - namely Trats, GONI and Universal_c210. Those boards were using schematic based I2C enumeration (I2C_5, I2C_9). However, new I2C framework imposes usage of logical I2C adapters numbering (e.g. I2C_0, I2C_1, etc). Additionally, I2C_GET_* macros were replaced with i2c_*_bus_num() functions. Trats board gained definition of second soft I2C adapter. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The PMIC framework has been extended to support multiple instances of the variety of devices responsible for power management. This change allows supporting of e.g. fuel gauge, charger, MUIC (Micro USB Interface Circuit). Power related includes have been moved to ./include/power directory. This is a first of a series of patches - in the future "pmic" will be replaced with "power". Two important issues: 1. The PMIC needs to be initialized just after malloc is configured 2. It uses list to hold information about available PMIC devices Signed-off-by: Lukasz Majewski <l.majewski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kyungmin Park <kyungmin.park@samsung.com> Cc: Stefano Babic <sbabic@denx.de>

In order to better adapt and reuse code across various upcoming Samsung Exynos based boards, all uses of s5pc210 prefix/suffix/directory-names are renamed in this patch. s5pc210 is renamed as exynos4210 and S5PC210/s5pc210 suffix/prefix are renamed as exynos4/EXYNOS4.
