* omap_hsmmc: Board-specific TWL4030 MMC power initializationsPaul Kocialkowski2014-12-04-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | Boards using the TWL4030 regulator may not all use the LDOs the same way (e.g. MMC2 power can be controlled by another LDO than VMMC2). This delegates TWL4030 MMC power initializations to board-specific functions, that may still call twl4030_power_mmc_init for the default behavior. * twl4030: make twl4030_i2c_write_u8 prototype consistentNishanth Menon2013-05-10-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | u-boot standard i2c register write prototype is i2c_reg_write(u8 addr, u8 reg, u8 val) twl4030_i2c_write_u8(u8 addr, u8 val, u8 reg) does not provide consistency, so switch the prototype to be consistent with rest of u-boot i2c operations: twl4030_i2c_write_u8(u8 addr, u8 reg, u8 val) Signed-off-by: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com>

* OMAP3: pandora: revise GPIO configurationGrazvydas Ignotas2012-05-15-13/+41
| | | | | | | | | | | | Update pandora's GPIO setup code with these changes: - convert to gpiolib - set up dual voltage GPIOs to match supply of 1.8V by clearing VMODE1 - add GPIO_IO_PWRDNZ configuration for DM3730 variation of pandora (required to enable GPIO 126, 127, and 129 I/O cells in DM3730) - add wifi reset pulse as recommended by wifi chip's manufacturer - drop configuration of GPIOs that u-boot doesn't need Signed-off-by: Grazvydas Ignotas <notasas@gmail.com>
* OMAP3: pandora: pin mux updates for DM3730 board variantGrazvydas Ignotas2012-05-15-0/+3
| | | | | | | DM3730 needs some additional pin mux configuration for GPIOs 126-129 to work, add it. Signed-off-by: Grazvydas Ignotas <notasas@gmail.com>
* ARM:OMAP+:MMC: Add parameters to MMC initJonathan Solnit2012-05-15-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Add parameters to the OMAP MMC initialization function so the board can mask host capabilities and set the maximum clock frequency. While the OMAP supports a certain set of MMC host capabilities, individual boards may be more restricted and the OMAP may need to be configured to match the board. The PRG_SDMMC1_SPEEDCTRL bit in the OMAP3 is an example. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Solnit <jsolnit@gmail.com>
* OMAP3: pandora: Use generic MMC driverTom Rini2011-09-04-0/+9
| | | | | | | | Switch from the legacy omap3 mmc driver to the new generic omap hsmmc driver. This patch is based on the work done for Beagle, etc. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>

* Move DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTR to file scopeJohn Rigby2010-12-21-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It can be optimised out by the compiler otherwise resulting in obscure errors like a board not booting. This has been documented in README since 2006 when these were first fixed up for GCC 4.x. Signed-off-by: John Rigby <john.rigby@linaro.org> Fix some additional places. * OMAP3: pandora: enable battery backup capacitorGrazvydas Ignotas2010-06-08-0/+9
| | | | | | | | | Pandora has a capacitor connected as backup battery, which allows retaining RTC for some time while main battery is removed. Enable backup battery charge function to charge that capacitor. Signed-off-by: Grazvydas Ignotas <notasas@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* pandora: don't enable VAUX3, VDAC and VPLL2 regulatorsGrazvydas Ignotas2010-01-04-1/+0
| | | | | | | | These regulators are not needed to start the kernel and only cause "incomplete constraints" warnings from kernel, so don't turn them on to save power. Signed-off-by: Grazvydas Ignotas <notasas@gmail.com>
* TWL4030: make LEDs selectable for twl4030_led_init()Grazvydas Ignotas2010-01-04-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Not all boards have both LEDs hooked, so enabling both on boards with single LED will just waste power. Make it possible to choose LEDs by adding argument to twl4030_led_init(). Using this turn on only LEDB for pandora, leave both LEDs on for all other boards, as it was before this patch.
