* OMAP3: fix DRAM size for IGEP-based boards.Enric Balletbò i Serra2012-09-01-3/+3
| | | | | | | | The total RAM size of the IGEP-based boards is 512MiB not 1GiB, the LPDDR memory consist on two dies of 256MiB. Signed-off-by: Enric Balletbo i Serra <eballetbo@gmail.com> Tested-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@dowhile0.org>
* OMAP3: igep00x0: add SPL support for IGEP-based boardsJavier Martinez Canillas2012-09-01-1/+41
| | | | | | | This patch adds SPL support for IGEP-based boards. Tested on an IGEPv2 Rev.C board with Micron NAND Flash memory. Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@dowhile0.org>
* OMAP3: igep00x0: Reduce lines of code for IGEP-based boards.Enric Balletbò i Serra2012-05-15-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is rework on config files of IGEP-based boards with the aim to remove duplicated code to be more maintainable. Basically this patch creates a common configuration file for both boards and only sets the specific option in the board config file. On board files the hardcored mach type was replaced in favour of using the CONFIG_MACH_TYPE option. More than 200 duplicated lines have been deleted. * ARM:OMAP+:MMC: Add parameters to MMC initJonathan Solnit2012-05-15-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Add parameters to the OMAP MMC initialization function so the board can mask host capabilities and set the maximum clock frequency. While the OMAP supports a certain set of MMC host capabilities, individual boards may be more restricted and the OMAP may need to be configured to match the board. The PRG_SDMMC1_SPEEDCTRL bit in the OMAP3 is an example. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Solnit <jsolnit@gmail.com>
* OMAP3: Overo: Update GPMC timing for ethernet chipPhilip Balister2011-09-30-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The existing timing does not quite meet the minimum requirements in the LAN9221 datasheet. The timing in this patch solves problems noticed on some parts. The patch also combines the CS configuration for the overo and igep0020 boards per request. Signed-off-by: Philip Balister <philip@opensdr.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* omap: gpio: Adapt board files to use generic APISanjeev Premi2011-09-13-6/+6
| | | | | | | This patch contains updates the sources in the board files to use the generic API. Signed-off-by: Sanjeev Premi <premi@ti.com>
* Move DECLARE_GLOBAL_DATA_PTR to file scopeJohn Rigby2010-12-21-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It can be optimised out by the compiler otherwise resulting in obscure errors like a board not booting. This has been documented in README since 2006 when these were first fixed up for GCC 4.x. Signed-off-by: John Rigby <john.rigby@linaro.org> Fix some additional places. * ARMV7: OMAP3: Use generic mmc driver on IGEP v2Enric Balletbo i Serra2010-11-04-0/+9
| | | | | | | This patch switches from the legacy mmc driver to the new generic mmc driver Signed-off-by: Enric Balletbo i Serra <eballetbo@iseebcn.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* OMAP3: Add support for the IGEP v2 board.Enric Balletbo i Serra2010-10-17-0/+129
The IGEP v2 board is a low-cost, fan-less and industrial temperature range single board computer that unleashes laptop-like performance and expandability without the bulk, expense, or noise of typical desktop machines. Its architecture shares much in common with other OMAP3 boards.
