* 8xxx: Change all 8*xx_DDR addresses to 8xxxAndy Fleming2012-11-27-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There were a number of shared files that were using CONFIG_SYS_MPC85xx_DDR_ADDR, or CONFIG_SYS_MPC86xx_DDR_ADDR, and several variants (DDR2, DDR3). A recent patchset added 85xx-specific ones to code which was used by 86xx systems. After reviewing places where these constants were used, and noting that the type definitions of the pointers assigned to point to those addresses were the same, the cleanest approach to fixing this problem was to unify the namespace for the 85xx, 83xx, and 86xx DDR address definitions. This patch does: s/CONFIG_SYS_MPC8.xx_DDR/CONFIG_SYS_MPC8xxx_DDR/g All 85xx, 86xx, and 83xx have been built with this change. * powerpc/p1023rds: Disable nor flash node and enable nand flash nodeChunhe Lan2012-04-24-0/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In the p1023rds, when system boots from nor flash, kernel only accesses nor flash and can not access nand flash with BR0/OR0; when system boots from nand flash, kernel only accesses nand flash and can not access nor flash with BR0/OR0. Default device tree nor and nand node should have the following structure: Example: nor_flash: nor@0,0 { #address-cells = <1>; #size-cells = <1>; compatible = "cfi-flash"; reg = <0x0 0x0 0x02000000>; bank-width = <2>; device-width = <1>; status = "okay"; partition@0 { label = "ramdisk"; reg = <0x00000000 0x01c00000>; }; } nand_flash: nand@1,0 { #address-cells = <1>; #size-cells = <1>; compatible = "fsl,p1023-fcm-nand", "fsl,elbc-fcm-nand"; reg = <0x2 0x0 0x00040000>; status = "disabled"; u-boot-nand@0 { /* This location must not be altered */ /* 1MB for u-boot Bootloader Image */ reg = <0x0 0x00100000>; read-only; }; } When booting from nor flash, the status of nor node is enabled and the status of nand node is disabled in the default dts file, so do not do anything. But, when booting from nand flash, need to do some operations: o Disable the NOR node by setting status = "disabled"; o Enable the NAND node by setting status = "okay"; Signed-off-by: Chunhe Lan <Chunhe.Lan@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Andy Fleming <afleming@freescale.com>
* powerpc/85xx: Add networking support to P1023RDSRoy Zang2011-09-29-0/+40
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The P1023 has two 1G ethernet controllers the first can run in SGMII, RGMII, or RMII. The second can only do SGMII & RGMII. We need to setup a for SoC & board registers based on our various configuration for ethernet to function properly on the board. Removed CONFIG_SYS_FMAN_FW as its not used anywhere.
