* MLK-12791 mx6qpsabresd: Change ENET TXCLK clock from PLLYe Li2016-05-16-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | In u-boot, i.MX6QP sabresd board uses 125Mhz ref clock from PHY, While kernel uses the clock from internal PLL by setting GPR5 bit 9. When doing warm reset in kernel, the GPR regigster is not reset, so the clock source still is the PLL. This causes ENET in u-boot can't work. In this patch, we change the u-boot to use internal PLL to align with kernel for i.MX6QP. This also fixes the ENET issue after kernel warm reset. * MLK-11304 MX6 SabreSD: Disable HDMI detectPeng Fan2015-07-31-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As the HDMI splash screen feature is not well supported, we should not set it to be the default display. In case, users leave the 'panel' uboot environment variable empty and connect the board with a HDMI monitor, the HDMI detect funtion will work and enable the HDMI splash screen. * MLK-11228-1 android: Integrate community fastboot with FSL i.MX fastbootYe.Li2015-07-13-27/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 1. Replace the UDC driver with community's USB gadget d_dnl driver. 2. Integrate the FSL SD/SATA/NAND flash operations, since the GPT and EFI partitions are not support by i.MX. 3. Add FDT support to community's android image. 4. Change the booti command to boota, due to the booti has been used for ARM64 image boot. 5. Modify boota implementation to load ramdisk and fdt to their loading addresses specified in boot.img header, while bootm won't do it for android image. 6. Modify the android image HAB implementation. Authenticate the boot.img on the "load_addr" for both SD and NAND. 7. Enable new configuration CONFIG_FSL_FASTBOOT for Freescale's fastboot with relevant header file "fsl_fastboot.h". While disabling the configuration, the community fastboot is used. 8. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add EPDC splash screen feature for MX6SL EVK, and MX6DL SABRESD board. - Currently, splash screen consists of a simple black border around a white screen. Done this way to save in memory footprint. - EPDC splash screen is disabled by default in the config file for MX6DL_SABRESD and MX6SL_EVK. If left enabled, the U-Boot image will not boot correctly (hang), since some additional content on the boot device (waveform file) is required for EPDC splash to work correctly. * | spi: mxc: fix sf probe when using mxc_spiNikita Kiryanov2014-09-24-0/+7
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | MXC SPI driver has a feature whereas a GPIO line can be used to force CS high across multiple transactions. This is set up by embedding the GPIO information in the CS value: cs = (cs | gpio << 8) This merge of cs and gpio data into one value breaks the sf probe command: if the use of gpio is required, invoking "sf probe <cs>" will not work, because the CS argument doesn't have the GPIO information in it. Instead, the user must use "sf probe <cs | gpio << 8>". For example, if bank 2 gpio 30 is used to force cs high on cs 0, bus 0, then instead of typing "sf probe 0" the user now must type "sf probe 15872". This is inconsistent with the description of the sf probe command, and forces the user to be aware of implementaiton details. Fix this by introducing a new board function: board_spi_cs_gpio(), which will accept a naked CS value, and provide the driver with the relevant GPIO, if one is necessary. * | kconfig: remove redundant "string" type in arch and board KconfigsMasahiro Yamada2014-09-13-5/+0
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now the types of CONFIG_SYS_{ARCH, CPU, SOC, VENDOR, BOARD, CONFIG_NAME} are specified in arch/Kconfig. We can delete the ones in arch and board Kconfig files. This commit can be easily reproduced by the following command: find . -name Kconfig -a ! -path ./arch/Kconfig | xargs sed -i -e ' /config[[:space:]]SYS_\(ARCH\|CPU\|SOC\|\VENDOR\|BOARD\|CONFIG_NAME\)/ { N s/\n[[:space:]]*string// } ' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>

| * Add board MAINTAINERS filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers information from it. The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script. After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect relevant information for a board into a single place. TODO: Modify get_maintainer.pl to scan multiple MAINTAINERS files. | * kconfig: add board Kconfig and defconfig filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds: - arch/${ARCH}/Kconfig provide a menu to select target boards - board/${VENDOR}/${BOARD}/Kconfig or board/${BOARD}/Kconfig set CONFIG macros to the appropriate values for each board - configs/${TARGET_BOARD}_defconfig default setting of each board (This commit was automatically generated by a conversion script based on boards.cfg) In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory. It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the command line for cross compile. But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line. Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done. That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a single directory ./configs/.
