* imximage.cfg: run files through C preprocessorTroy Kisky2013-01-22-42/+44
| | | | | | | | | | | | The '#' used as comments in the files cause the preprocessor trouble, so change to /* */. The mkimage command which uses this preprocessor output was moved to arch/arm/imx-common/Makefile .gitignore was updated to ignore .cfgtmp files. * pmic: Extend PMIC framework to support multiple instances of PMIC devicesŁukasz Majewski2012-11-14-3/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The PMIC framework has been extended to support multiple instances of the variety of devices responsible for power management. This change allows supporting of e.g. fuel gauge, charger, MUIC (Micro USB Interface Circuit). Power related includes have been moved to ./include/power directory. This is a first of a series of patches - in the future "pmic" will be replaced with "power". Two important issues: 1. The PMIC needs to be initialized just after malloc is configured 2. It uses list to hold information about available PMIC devices Signed-off-by: Lukasz Majewski <l.majewski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kyungmin Park <kyungmin.park@samsung.com> Cc: Stefano Babic <sbabic@denx.de>
* mxc: Fix SDHC multi-instance clockBenoît Thébaudeau2012-10-16-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | On mxc, each SDHC instance has a dedicated clock, so gd->sdhc_clk is not suitable for the multi-instance use case (initialization made directly with fsl_esdhc_initialize()). This patch fixes this issue by adding a configuration field for the SDHC input clock frequency. * fsl_esdhc: Remove cache snooping for i.MXBenoît Thébaudeau2012-09-01-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The cache snooping feature of Freescale's eSDHC IP is not available on i.MX, so disable it globally for this architecture. This avoids setting no_snoop for all i.MX boards, and it prevents setting a reserved bit of a reserved register if fsl_esdhc_mmc_init() is used on i.MX, like in arch/arm/cpu/armv7/imx-common/cpu.c/cpu_mmc_init(). Since no_snoop was only used on i.MX, get rid of it BTW. * MX53: DDR: Fix ZQHWCTRL field TZQ_CSTroy Kisky2012-04-16-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Currently, board files are setting this field to 0x01 which the manual says is a reserved value. Change to use the default of 0x02 - 128 cycles. Signed-off-by: Troy Kisky <troy.kisky@boundarydevices.com> Acked-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>

* mmc: Change board_mmc_getcd() function prototype.Thierry Reding2012-01-08-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The new API no longer uses the extra cd parameter that was used to store the card presence state. Instead, this information is returned via the function's return value. board_mmc_getcd() returns -1 to indicate that no card-detection mechanism is implemented; 0 indicates that no card is present and 1 is returned if it was detected that a card is present. The rationale for this change can be found in the following email thread: http://lists.denx.de/pipermail/u-boot/2011-November/110180.html In summary, the old API was not consistent with the rest of the MMC API which always passes a struct mmc as the first parameter. Furthermore the cd parameter was used to mean "card absence" in some implementations and "card presence" in others. * punt unused clean/distclean targetsMike Frysinger2011-10-15-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The top level Makefile does not do any recursion into subdirs when cleaning, so these clean/distclean targets in random arch/board dirs never get used. Punt them all. MAKEALL didn't report any errors related to this that I could see. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
