* 83xx/85xx/86xx: LBC register cleanupBecky Bruce2010-07-16-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, 83xx, 86xx, and 85xx have a lot of duplicated code dedicated to defining and manipulating the LBC registers. Merge this into a single spot. To do this, we have to decide on a common name for the data structure that holds the lbc registers - it will now be known as fsl_lbc_t, and we adopt a common name for the immap layouts that include the lbc - this was previously known as either im_lbc or lbus; use the former. In addition, create accessors for the BR/OR regs that use in/out_be32 and use those instead of the mismash of access methods currently in play. I have done a successful ppc build all and tested a board or two from each processor family. * Add wait flags to support board/chip specific delaysWolfgang Grandegger2009-03-23-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The NAND flash on the TQM8548_BE modules requires a short delay after running the UPM pattern like the MPC8360ERDK board does. The TQM8548_BE requires a further short delay after writing out a buffer. Normally the R/B pin should be checked, but it's not connected on the TQM8548_BE. The corresponding Linux FSL UPM driver uses similar delay points at the same locations. To manage these extra delays in a more general way, I introduced the "wait_flags" field allowing the board-specific driver to specify various types of extra delay. * Add multi chip support to the FSL-UPM driverWolfgang Grandegger2009-03-23-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds support for multi-chip NAND devices to the FSL-UPM driver. The "dev_ready" callback of the "struct fsl_upm_nand" is now called with the argument "chip_nr" to allow testing the proper chip select line. The NAND support of the MPC8360ERDK is updated as well. No other boards are currently using the FSL UPM driver. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Grandegger <wg@grandegger.com> Signed-off-by: Scott Wood <scottwood@freescale.com>

* MPC8360ERDK: adapt NAND interface for the re-written FSL NAND UPM driverWolfgang Grandegger2008-06-19-2/+22
| | | | | | | | | This patch is based on the following patch sent a few minutes ago: "NAND FSL UPM: driver re-write using the hwcontrol callback" It is untested, of course. Anton, could you please give it a try. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Grandegger <wg@grandegger.com> Acked-by: Anton Vorontsov <avorontsov@ru.mvista.com>
