| | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit 70b26cd057f42c7126088b49d4285955c8a00eae. This is not a strict revert as it is easier to fix board/atmark-techno/armadillo-800eva/armadillo-800eva.c to now the correct name (same value) than to revert that change too. * arm: Remove unregister MACH_TYPE_xxx usesTom Rini2017-01-14-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Before we can sync with the latest mach-types.h file from the Linux Kernel we need to remove some instances of MACH_TYPE_xxx from our sources. As these values have been removed from the canonical upstream source we should not be using them either, so drop. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers information from it. The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script. After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect relevant information for a board into a single place. * kconfig: add board Kconfig and defconfig filesMasahiro Yamada2014-07-30-0/+71
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds: - arch/${ARCH}/Kconfig provide a menu to select target boards - board/${VENDOR}/${BOARD}/Kconfig or board/${BOARD}/Kconfig set CONFIG macros to the appropriate values for each board - configs/${TARGET_BOARD}_defconfig default setting of each board (This commit was automatically generated by a conversion script based on boards.cfg) In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory. It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the command line for cross compile. But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line. Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done. That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a single directory ./configs/. * arm, hawkboard: Use the pinmux configurations defined in the arch treeChristian Riesch2011-12-06-43/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The boards in board/davinci/da8xxevm/ define pinmux_config[] vectors that contain pinmux configurations for emac, uarts, memory controllers... In an earlier patch such pinmux configurations were added to the arch tree. This patch makes the hawkboard use these definitions instead of defining its own.
