* net: Remove all calls to net_random_ethaddr()Joe Hershberger2015-05-20-10/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the calls to net_random_ethaddr() that some boards and some drivers are calling. This is now implemented inside of net/eth.c Enable the feature for all boards that previously enabled it. Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> Acked-By: Michael Walle <michael@walle.cc> (for the lsxl board part) Series-changes: 2 -Fixed bfin build errors
* net: cosmetic: Name ethaddr variables consistentlyJoe Hershberger2015-04-18-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Use "_ethaddr" at the end of variables and drop CamelCase. Make constant values actually 'const'. Signed-off-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* arm: kirkwood: Change naming of dram functions from km_foo() to mvebu_foo()Stefan Roese2014-10-23-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Additionally the SDRAM address decoding register address is not hard coded in the C code any more. A define is introduced for this base address. This makes is possible to use those gpio functions from other MVEBU SoC's as well. * arm: marvell: Extract kirkwood gpio functions into new common file gpio.cStefan Roese2014-10-23-3/+3
| | | | | | | | This makes is possible to use those gpio functions from other MVEBU SoC's as well. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Tested-by: Luka Perkov <luka@openwrt.org> Acked-by: Prafulla Wadaskar <prafulla@marvell.com>
* arm: marvell: Move arch/kirkwood.h to arch/soc.hStefan Roese2014-10-23-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | This move makes is possible to use this header not only from kirkwood platforms but from all Marvell mvebu platforms. Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Tested-by: Luka Perkov <luka@openwrt.org> Acked-by: Prafulla Wadaskar <prafulla@marvell.com>
* sf: Tidy up public and private header filesSimon Glass2014-10-22-1/+2
| | | | | | | | Since spi_flash.h is supposed to be the public API for SPI flash, move private things to sf_internal.h. Also tidy up a few comment nits. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Jagannadha Sutradharudu Teki <jagannadh.teki@gmail.com>
* net: rename and refactor eth_rand_ethaddr() functionMasahiro Yamada2014-05-12-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some functions in include/net.h are ported from include/linux/etherdevice.h of Linux Kernel. For ex. is_zero_ether_addr() is_multicast_ether_addr() is_broadcast_ether_addr() is_valid_ether_addr(); So, we should use the same function name as that of Linux Kernel, eth_rand_addr(), for consistency. Besides, eth_rand_addr() has been implemented as an inline function. So it should not be surrounded by #ifdef CONFIG_RANDOM_MACADDR. * lsxl: unset ncip for rescue modeMichael Walle2013-01-09-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | Instead of using the serverip we get from the DHCP server, implicitly use the broadcast address, which is automatically set when no ncip environment variable is set. That way it isn't necessary to use a special DHCP configuration to set the netconsole peer. Signed-off-by: Michael Walle <michael@walle.cc> Cc: Prafulla Wadaskar <prafulla@marvell.com>
* kirkwood: make MPP arrays static constAlbert ARIBAUD2013-01-09-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This saves stack and code memory for local copy, and consumes initialized data memory. For 22 of the 29 kirkwood-based boards, this results in a global saving of about 30 bytes. For 7 of them, it results in an increase of 6 to 14 bytes. Signed-off-by: Albert ARIBAUD <albert.u.boot@aribaud.net>
* lsxl: also turn off fan in power down modeMichael Walle2012-10-03-1/+5

* lsxl: support power switchMichael Walle2012-09-03-1/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch restores the Linkstation's original behaviour when powering off. Once the (soft) power switch is turned off, linux will reboot and the bootloader turns off HDD and USB power. Then it loops as long as the switch is in the off position, before continuing the boot process again. Additionally, this patch fixes the board function set_led(LED_OFF). * Kirkwood: add lschlv2 and lsxhl board supportMichael Walle2012-07-07-0/+283
