* x86: Drop all the old pin configuration codeSimon Glass2016-03-17-141/+0
| | | | | | | | We don't need this anymore - we can use device tree and the new pinconfig driver instead. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
* x86: gpio: Correct GPIO setup orderingSimon Glass2016-03-17-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The Intel GPIO driver can set up the GPIO pin mapping when the first GPIO is probed. However, it assumes that the first GPIO to be probed is in the first GPIO bank. If this is not the case then the init will write to the wrong registers. Fix this. Also add a note that this code is deprecated. We should move to using device tree instead. * x86: Drop asm/arch/gpio.hBin Meng2016-02-05-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | asm/arch/gpio.h is not needed anymore as we get the GPIO base from PCH driver. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* x86: gpio: add pinctrl support from the device treeGabriel Huau2015-06-04-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Every pin can be configured now from the device tree. A dt-bindings has been added to describe the different property available. Change-Id: I1668886062655f83700d0e7bbbe3ad09b19ee975 Signed-off-by: Gabriel Huau <contact@huau-gabriel.fr> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* x86: ich6-gpio: Add Intel Tunnel Creek GPIO supportBin Meng2014-12-18-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Intel Tunnel Creek GPIO register block is compatible with current ich6-gpio driver, except the offset and content of GPIO block base address register in the LPC PCI configuration space are different. Use u16 instead of u32 to store the 16-bit I/O address of the GPIO registers so that it could support both Ivybridge and Tunnel Creek. * x86: ich6-gpio: Move setup_pch_gpios() to board support codesBin Meng2014-12-13-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Movie setup_pch_gpios() in the ich6-gpio driver to the board support codes, so that the driver does not need to know any platform specific stuff (ie: include the platform specifc chipset header file). * x86: ivybridge: Add support for early GPIO initSimon Glass2014-11-21-1/+141
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | When not relying on Coreboot for GPIO init the GPIOs must be set up correctly. This is currently done statically through a rather ugly method. As the GPIOs are figured out they can be moved to the device tree and set up as needed rather than all at the start. In this implementation, board files should call ich_gpio_set_gpio_map() before the GPIO driver is used in order to provide the GPIO information. We use the early PCI interface so that this driver can now be used before relocation. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: x86: Add a gpio header for corebootSimon Glass2014-10-23-0/+1
| | | | | | | | This code doesn't follow the normal approach of having its arch-specific definitions in an arch-specific directory. Add a new arch-specific file and make use of it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
