* sh: add support for sh7752evb boardYoshihiro Shimoda2012-12-20-0/+213
| | | | | | | | | | | The R0P7752C00000RZ board has SH7752, 512MB DDR3-SDRAM, SPI ROM, Gigabit Ethernet, and eMMC. This patch supports the following functions: - 512MB DDR3-SDRAM, SCIF4, SPI ROM, Gigabit Ethernet, eMMC Signed-off-by: Yoshihiro Shimoda <yoshihiro.shimoda.uh@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
* sh: fix trigger_address_error()Yoshihiro Shimoda2012-11-30-1/+1
| | | | | | | | The function should set BL bit, but it should not clear other flags. So, the patch uses set_bl_bit() instead of a local asm code. Signed-off-by: Yoshihiro Shimoda <yoshihiro.shimoda.uh@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
* common: Discard the __u_boot_cmd sectionMarek Vasut2012-10-22-21/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | The command declaration now uses the new LG-array method to generate list of commands. Thus the __u_boot_cmd section is now superseded and redundant and therefore can be removed. Also, remove externed symbols associated with this section from include/command.h . * common: Add .u_boot_list into all linker filesMarek Vasut2012-10-22-0/+12
| | | | | | | | | | Add section for the linker-generated lists into all possible linker files, so that everyone can easily use these lists. This is mostly a mechanical adjustment. * sh: tmu: Removed arch/sh/include/asm/clk.hNobuhiro Iwamatsu2012-08-21-31/+0
| | | | | | | | | asm/clk.h was included get_peripheral_clk_rate function. But this is not used from anywhere. This removed asm/clk.h, and deleted include line from arch/sh/lib/time.c Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <nobuhiro.iwamatsu.yj@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
* sh: tmu: Changed switch statement to shift operationNobuhiro Iwamatsu2012-08-21-30/+18
| | | | | | | | | Calculation of the bit position using switch statement can substitute shift operation using ffs. And removed unsed macro and variable. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <nobuhiro.iwamatsu.yj@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
* sh: tmu: Changed TMU driver using array of structuresNobuhiro Iwamatsu2012-08-21-151/+26
| | | | | | | | | This changed into access using array of structure from access to the register using the definition of the register by macro. And removed white space. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <nobuhiro.iwamatsu.yj@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
* global_data: unify global flag definesMike Frysinger2012-08-09-8/+1
| | | | | | | All the global flag defines are the same across all arches. So unify them in one place, and add a simple way for arches to extend for their needs. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* sh: modify checkcpu() for SH-4AYoshihiro Shimoda2012-08-08-0/+4
| | | | | | | | Even if using CPU is SH-4A, the previous code always put "SH4". This patch fixes it. Signed-off-by: Yoshihiro Shimoda <yoshihiro.shimoda.uh@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>

* sh: avoid multiple definition errors with cache funcsMike Frysinger2011-12-02-21/+25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Recent builds for SH4 boards fail with a lot of errors like: cmd_mem.o: In function 'dcache_invalid_range': include/asm/cache.h:25: multiple definition of 'dcache_invalid_range' include/asm/cache.h:25: first defined here This is due to the funcs being defined in the header, but not static or inline or extern. So move them to the sh4-specific cache.c file. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>

* sh: only add -mno-fdpic if the compiler supports itMike Frysinger2011-12-02-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | Not all SuperH toolchains support -mno-fdpic. Chances are good that if the flag doesn't work, it isn't defaulting to the FDPIC ABI, so the flag isn't needed. * console: Implement pre-console bufferGraeme Russ2011-10-05-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Allow redirection of console output prior to console initialisation to a temporary buffer. To enable this functionality, the board (or arch) must define: - CONFIG_PRE_CONSOLE_BUFFER - Enable pre-console buffer - CONFIG_PRE_CON_BUF_ADDR - Base address of pre-console buffer - CONFIG_PRE_CON_BUF_SZ - Size of pre-console buffer (in bytes) The pre-console buffer will buffer the last CONFIG_PRE_CON_BUF_SZ bytes Any earlier characters are silently dropped.

* Handle most LDSCRIPT setting centrallyScott Wood2011-04-30-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, some linker scripts are found by common code in config.mk. Some are found using CONFIG_SYS_LDSCRIPT, but the code for that is sometimes in arch config.mk and sometimes in board config.mk. Some are found using an arch-specific rule for looking in CPUDIR, etc. Further, the powerpc config.mk rule relied on CONFIG_NAND_SPL when it really wanted CONFIG_NAND_U_BOOT -- which covered up the fact that not all NAND_U_BOOT builds actually wanted CPUDIR/u-boot-nand.lds. Replace all of this -- except for a handful of boards that are actually selecting a linker script in a unique way -- with centralized ldscript finding. If board code specifies LDSCRIPT, that will be used. Otherwise, if CONFIG_SYS_LDSCRIPT is specified, that will be used. If neither of these are specified, then the central config.mk will check for the existence of the following, in order: $(TOPDIR)/board/$(BOARDDIR)/u-boot-nand.lds (only if CONFIG_NAND_U_BOOT) $(TOPDIR)/$(CPUDIR)/u-boot-nand.lds (only if CONFIG_NAND_U_BOOT) $(TOPDIR)/board/$(BOARDDIR)/u-boot.lds $(TOPDIR)/$(CPUDIR)/u-boot.lds Some boards (sc3, cm5200, munices) provided their own u-boot.lds that were dead code, because they were overridden by a CPUDIR u-boot.lds under the old powerpc rules. These boards' own u-boot.lds have bitrotted and no longer work -- these lds files have been removed. Signed-off-by: Scott Wood <scottwood@freescale.com> Tested-by: Graeme Russ <graeme.russ@gmail.com>

* Introduce a new linker flag LDFLAGS_FINALHaiying Wang2011-03-22-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | commit 8aba9dceebb14144e07d19593111ee3a999c37fc Divides variable of linker flags to LDFLAGS-u-boot and LDFLAGS breaks the usage of --gc-section to build nand_spl. We still need linker option --gc-section for every uboot image, not only the main one. LDFLAGS_FINAL passes the --gc-sections to each uboot image. To get the proper linker flags, we use LDFLAGS and LDFLAGS_FINAL to replace PLATFORM_LDFLAGS in the Makefile of each nand_spl board.
