* fsl_sec : Change accessor function to take care of endiannessRuchika Gupta2014-10-16-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | SEC registers can be of type Little Endian or big Endian depending upon Freescale SoC. Here SoC defines the register type of SEC IP. So update acessor functions with common SEC acessor functions to take care both type of endianness. * powerpc/8xxx: Fix in USB device-tree fixupramneek mehresh2014-09-24-11/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix following issues in USB device-tree fixup: - returns when either dr_mode or phy_type not defined. This was terminating fix-up when only either property was defined in hwconfig string - updates dr_mode_type or dr_phy_type with junk value when their index is -1. Now these are updated only when their respective index is pointing to relevant types in modes[] and phys[] array - dr_mode_type and dr_phy_type were not NULL for each controller Signed-off-by: Ramneek Mehresh <ramneek.mehresh@freescale.com> Reviewed-by: York Sun <yorksun@freescale.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | Fix USB device-fixup warning "node not found". This was occuring because of static nature of start_offset variable Static start_offset was storing offset of last node modified, and was becoming issue if node fixup is carried multiple times, resulting in "node not found" warning Signed-off-by: Ramneek Mehresh <ramneek.mehresh@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* powerpc/85xx: Update device tree handling for SRIOKumar Gala2011-10-18-10/+62
| | | | | | | | | | | Update device tree handling for SRIO controller to support updated fsl,srio device tree binding. We handle disabling of individual ports, the whole controller, RMU, and RMAN. Additionally, we setup the SRIO related LIODNs in the device tree. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* powerpc/mp: add support for discontiguous coresTimur Tabi2011-09-29-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Some SOCs have discontiguously-numbered cores, and so we can't determine the valid core numbers via the FRR register any more. We define CPU_TYPE_ENTRY_MASK to specify a discontiguous core mask, and helper functions to process the mask and enumerate over the set of valid cores. * powerpc/8xxx: Remove dependency on <usb.h>Kumar Gala2011-07-29-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We used <usb.h> for USB_MAX_DEVICE. However this requires we actual build in support for USB into u-boot (which should not be required for device tree fixup). At this time no FSL SoC that utilizies this code (83xx/85xx) has more than 2 USB controllers. So we replace USB_MAX_DEVICE with a local define FSL_MAX_NUM_USB_CTRLS. If/when a device shows up with more than 2 controllers we can easily bump this value or refactor into a proper define per SoC. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>

| | | | | | | | | | to make USB2 worked in gadget mode, we need to set it's 'dr_mode' to 'peripheral' in hwconfig, but driver starts scan from 'usb1', it'll break out if it cannot find 'usb1', so drop the 'else' clause to make driver scan all the 'usbx'. * powerpc/8xxx: Update USB mode device tree fixupRamneek Mehresh2011-07-11-12/+65
| | | | | | | | | | | | Modify support for USB mode fixup: - Add common support for USB mode and phy type device tree fix-up for all USB controllers mentioned in hwconfig string - Fetch USB mode and phy type via hwconfig; if not defined in hwconfig, then fetch them from env Signed-off-by: Ramneek Mehresh <ramneek.mehresh@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* fsl: Change fsl_phy_enet_if to phy_interface_tAndy Fleming2011-04-20-20/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | The fsl_phy_enet_if enum was, essentially, the phy_interface_t enum. This meant that drivers which used fsl_phy_enet_if to deal with PHY interfaces would have to convert between the two (or we would have to have them mirror each other, and deal with the ensuing maintenance headache). Instead, we switch all clients of fsl_phy_enet_if over to phy_interface_t, which should become the standard, anyway. * powerpc/8xxx: Refactor SRIO initialization into common codeKumar Gala2011-01-14-1/+22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Moved the SRIO init out of corenet_ds and into common code for 8xxx/QorIQ processors that have SRIO. We mimic what we do with PCIe controllers for SRIO. We utilize the fact that SRIO is over serdes to determine if its configured or not and thus can setup the LAWs needed for it dynamically. We additionally update the device tree (to remove the SRIO nodes) if the board doesn't have SRIO enabled. Introduced the following standard defines for board config.h: CONFIG_SYS_SRIO - Chip has SRIO or not CONFIG_SRIO1 - Board has SRIO 1 port available CONFIG_SRIO2 - Board has SRIO 2 port available (where 'n' is the port #) CONFIG_SYS_SRIOn_MEM_VIRT - virtual address in u-boot CONFIG_SYS_SRIOn_MEM_PHYS - physical address (for law setup) CONFIG_SYS_SRIOn_MEM_SIZE - size of window (for law setup) [ These mimic what we have for PCI and PCIe controllers ] Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org> Acked-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
* powerpc/8xxx: Add fdt_fixup_phy_connection helperKumar Gala2010-10-20-0/+24
| | | | | | | Add a common helper that will set the PHY connection type based on enum. We use this on eTSEC, UCC, and will with Fman in the future. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* powerpc/8xxx: Add is_core_disabled to remove disabled cores from dtbKumar Gala2010-07-16-2/+3

* mpc8xxx: Remove cpu-handles for cpus we deleteKumar Gala2010-07-16-6/+30

* Move arch/ppc to arch/powerpcStefan Roese2010-04-21-0/+55
As discussed on the list, move "arch/ppc" to "arch/powerpc" to better match the Linux directory structure. Please note that this patch also changes the "ppc" target in MAKEALL to "powerpc" to match this new infrastructure. But "ppc" is kept as an alias for now, to not break compatibility with scripts using this name.
