* ARMV7: OMAP: Add new mmc driver compatible with CONFIG_GENERIC_MMCSukumar Ghorai2010-10-17-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | OMAP boards currently use a legacy mmc driver. This patch adds a new mmc driver which will work with the generic mmc driver in u-boot. This new driver will work with both OMAP3 and OMAP4 boards. This patch does not remove the old driver. It should remain in the tree until all boards that use it switch to the new driver. * ARMV7: OMAP3: Fix broken reset command on OMAP36XX/37XX and OMAP4Steve Sakoman2010-09-08-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Using the reset command on OMAP36XX/37XX and OMAP4 caused a hang. This patch uses the reset bit appropriate for each CPU architecture. Signed-off-by: Steve Sakoman <steve@sakoman.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* ARMV7: OMAP3: Add clock setup for OMAP36XX/37XXSteve Sakoman2010-09-08-0/+44
| | | | | | | | This patch configures clocks properly when a 36XX/37XX processor is detected. Signed-off-by: Steve Sakoman <steve@sakoman.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* ARMV7: OMAP3: Update CPU type detection for AM35XX/OMAP36XX/37XXSteve Sakoman2010-09-08-8/+40
| | | | | | | | TI has added new processors to the OMAP3 family. This patch enhances the code in sysinfo.c to detect which family member is present. Signed-off-by: Steve Sakoman <steve@sakoman.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* AM35x: Adding SCM general register definitionsAjay Kumar Gupta2010-08-12-0/+52
| | | | | | | | Adding general register structure of system control module (SCM) of AM35x. This would be required to access devconf2 and ip_sw_reset register in musb module. Signed-off-by: Ajay Kumar Gupta <ajay.gupta@ti.com>

* ARMV7: Modify i2c driver for more reliable operation on OMAP4Steve Sakoman2010-08-05-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch modifies the init routine to follow the TRM recommendations. It also modifies the i2c_read_byte function to reflect subtle differences between the i2c controller in OMAP3 and OMAP4. * ARMV7: Restructure OMAP i2c driver to allow code sharing between OMAP3 and OMAP4Steve Sakoman2010-07-05-145/+4
| | | | | | | This patch modifies the omap24xx driver so that it will also work with OMAP4. Signed-off-by: Steve Sakoman <steve@sakoman.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* ARMV7: Restructure OMAP mmc driver to allow code sharing between OMAP3 and OMAP4Steve Sakoman2010-07-05-242/+0
| | | | | | | | The architecture independent header is moved to drivers/mmc, and the architecture dependent headers reside in asm/arch-omap3 and asm/arch-omap4 Signed-off-by: Steve Sakoman <steve@sakoman.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
* OMAP: mmc: add support for second and third mmc channelsSteve Sakoman2010-07-05-3/+12

* Move architecture-specific includes to arch/$ARCH/include/asmPeter Tyser2010-04-13-0/+2546
This helps to clean up the include/ directory so that it only contains non-architecture-specific headers and also matches Linux's directory layout which many U-Boot developers are already familiar with. Signed-off-by: Peter Tyser <ptyser@xes-inc.com>
