* dm: sunxi: Use driver model for Ethernet on Linksprite pcDuino3Simon Glass2015-04-18-0/+1
| | | | | | Switch this board over to use driver model for Ethernet. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: sunxi: Support driver model for EthernetSimon Glass2015-04-18-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | Adjust the Ethernet initialisation code to support driver model. It is no-longer necessary to call designware_initialize(). The device will be probed when it is used. The PHY type and GMAC base will come from the device tree. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: net: Adjust designware driver to support driver modelSimon Glass2015-04-18-17/+153
| | | | | | | | Add driver model support to the designware driver. This reuses most of the existing code except for some duplication in the probe() method. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* dm: net: Tidy up designware driver ready for driver modelSimon Glass2015-04-18-34/+53
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Adjust the error handling to use errno.h instead of returning -1. Change leaf functions to pass in the arguments they require rather than struct eth_device. Apart from simplifying the code it makes is easier to reuse these functions for driver model, since mostly they actually only use struct dw_eth_priv (which we can keep). Create a stub for each Ethernet operation function. This will allow use to share code with the driver model versions. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* dm: net: Adjust PHY interface to work with CONFIG_DM_ETHSimon Glass2015-04-18-1/+47
| | | | | | | | | | | | When driver model is used for Ethernet a few functions are passed a udevice instead of an eth_device. Also add a function to find a PHY type given its name. This will be used to decode the device tree node. Finally, put a phy_interface field in struct eth_pdata since this is an important part of the platform data for Ethernet. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* Avoid calling print_eths() with driver modelSimon Glass2015-04-18-1/+1
| | | | | | | This function is not supported with driver model. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* dm: net: Use existing Ethernet init for driver modelSimon Glass2015-04-18-37/+42
| | | | | | | | | | | | | At present even with driver model is used there is still much manual init of related devices: PHY, environment and board init. Until these requirements are dealt with in another way we need to keep them around. Break out the init portion of the legacy eth_initialize() into a separate function and call it from both the legacy and driver model eth_initialize() functions. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* dts: sunxi: Bring in Ethernet device tree bindingsSimon Glass2015-04-18-0/+161

* Kconfig: Move CONFIG_DESIGNWARE_ETH to KconfigSimon Glass2015-04-18-17/+166
| | | | | | | | | | Move this to Kconfig and clean up board config files that use it. Also rename it to CONFIG_ETH_DESIGNWARE to fit with the naming that exists in drivers/net/Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Version 1: Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* sunxi: Replace the pcDuino3 config with FDT versionSimon Glass2015-04-18-15/+7
| | | | | | | | | We currently have Linksprite_pcDuino3 and Linksprite_pcDuino3_fdt. Drop the former in favour of the latter. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Acked-by: Ian Campbell <ijc@hellion.org.uk>

| | | | | | | | | | | | This commit fixes incorrect DHCP/BOOTP packet layout caused by 'ulong' type size difference on 64 and 32-bit architectures. It also renames NetReadLong()/NetCopyLong() to net_read_u32/net_copy_u32() accordingly. * net: cosmetic: Fix var naming net <-> eth driversJoe Hershberger2015-04-18-209/+225
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Update the naming convention used in the network stack functions and variables that Ethernet drivers use to interact with it. This cleans up the temporary hacks that were added to this interface along with the DM support. This patch has a few remaining checkpatch.pl failures that would be out of the scope of this patch to fix (drivers that are in gross violation of checkpatch.pl). * net: cosmetic: Change IPaddr_t to struct in_addrJoe Hershberger2015-04-18-337/+363
| | | | | | | | | This patch is simply clean-up to make the IPv4 type that is used match what Linux uses. It also attempts to move all variables that are IP addresses use good naming instead of CamelCase. No functional change.
