* power: twl6030: Device-index-specific MMC power initializationPaul Kocialkowski2016-03-15-27/+29
| | | | | | | | Not every device has multiple MMC slots available, so it makes sense to enable only the required LDOs for the available slots. Generic code in omap_hsmmc will enable both VMMC and VAUX1, in doubt. Signed-off-by: Paul Kocialkowski <contact@paulk.fr>
* power: twl6030: Enable VAUX1 for eMMC power, depending on BOOT2 valuePaul Kocialkowski2016-03-15-0/+30
| | | | | | | | | | | This enables the VAUX1 supply, used for eMMC power in standard configurations. Its voltage is determined by the value of the BOOT2 pin of the TWL6030. Note that the TWL6030 might already have enabled this regulator at startup (depending on the value of the BOOT3 pin of the TWL6030), according to the TWL6030 datasheet. | | | | | | | | | | | There is no need to set the reboot mode to a particular value prior to reboot, since valid values will have been caught and cleared earlier. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The USB subsystem has a few counters that need to be reset since they are stored in static variables rather than driver-model data. An example is usb_max_devs. Ultimately we should move this data into the USB uclass. For now, make sure that USB is reset after each test, so that the counters go back to zero. Note: this is not a perfect solution: It a USB test fails it will exit immediately and leave USB un-reset. The impact here is that it may cause subsequence test failures in the same run. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We can use linker lists instead of explicitly declaring each function. This makes the code shorter by avoiding switch() statements and lots of header file declarations. While this does clean up the code it introduces a few code issues with SPL. SPL never needs to print partition information since this all happens from commands. SPL mostly doesn't need to obtain information about a partition either, except in a few cases. Add these cases so that the code will be dropped from each partition driver when not needed. This avoids code bloat. I think this is still a win, since it is not a bad thing to be explicit about which features are used in SPL. But others may like to weigh in.
