This patch adds support for the Android boot-image format. The header
file is from the Android project and got slightly alterted so the struct +
its defines are not generic but have something like a namespace. The
header file is from bootloader/legacy/include/boot/bootimg.h. The header
parsing has been written from scratch and I looked at
bootloader/legacy/usbloader/usbloader.c for some details.
The image contains the physical address (load address) of the kernel and
ramdisk. This address is considered only for the kernel image.
The "second image" defined in the image header is currently not
supported. I haven't found anything that is creating this.
v3 (Rob Herring):
This is based on http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/126797/ with the
following changes:
- Rebased to current mainline
- Moved android image handling to separate functions in
common/image-android.c
- s/u8/char/ in header to fix string function warnings
- Use SPDX identifiers for licenses
- Cleaned-up file source information:
android_image.h is from file include/boot/bootimg.h in repository:
https://android.googlesource.com/platform/bootable/bootloader/legacy
The git commit hash is 4205b865141ff2e255fe1d3bd16de18e217ef06a
usbloader.c would be from the same commit, but it does not appear
to have been used for any actual code.
v4:
- s/andriod/android/
- Use a separate flag ep_found to track if the entry point has been set
rather than using a magic value.

Instead of waiting for DC triple buffer to be cleared, this patch changes
to wait for a relevant DP sync flow end irq when disabling sync BG flows.
In this way, we align the implement to the FSL internal IPUv3 driver.
After applying this patch, the uboot hang up issue at the arch_preboot_os
stage on the MX6DL platforms is not observed any more.

When configure the USDHC driver to PIO mode by defining
"CONFIG_SYS_FSL_ESDHC_USE_PIO", the SD/MMC read and write will fail.
Two bugs in the driver to cause the issue:
1. The read buffer was invalidated after reading from DATAPORT register,
which should be only applied to DMA mode. The valid data in cache was
overwritten by physical memory.
2. The watermarks are not set in PIO mode, will cause according state not
be set.

When booting in eMMC fast boot, the uboot v2013.04 always hangs.
The root cause is that MMC host does not exit from boot mode after
bootrom loading image. So the first command 'CMD0' sent
in uboot will pull down the CMD line to low and cause errors.
This patch cleans the MMC boot register in "mmc_init" to put the
MMC host back to normal mode.

Implement simple functionalities for MAX7310 GPIO input and output.
Because MAX7310 is a off-chip device and need to co-exist with
on-chip GPIO, new APIs are added specifically for expander device.
CONFIG_MAX7310_IOEXP is used to enable the MAX7310 driver. The I2C

imx6 boards (sabresd, sabreauto, arm2 and slevk) have multiple SD/MMC ports to boot.
But current uboot hard code the SD/MMC port for environment variables storage. So
if customer changes a port without modifying the configuration "CONFIG_SYS_MMC_ENV_DEV",
error will issue at saving and loading environment.
Implement a mechanism to detect SD/MMC port from SRC SMBR register, and override the
default "mmc_get_env_devno". The "board_late_mmc_env_init" is used to set "mmcdev"
when booting from SD/MMC port. Finally after booting from SD/MMC, the environment storage
device and "mmcdev" are both set to current SD/MMC port. Customers don't need to re-build
the image if booting from different SD/MMC port.
This patch also adds SD1 and SD3 support to imx6slevk BSP, and adds support for sabreauto
SD1 slot on base board.

Support android features:
fastboot, booti command and recovery for sabresd SD, sabresd eMMC,
sabreauto SD, sabreauto NAND.
For all booting media (SD, eMMC, NAND), inherits the partitions layout
from v2009.08. Fastboot will detect the booting media to replace
hardcoding fastboot device. SATA is not supported.
FDT is supported to use the "unused" fields in bootimg header which
requires the FDT to be combined into the boot.img.
For non-FDT boot.img, the "unused" fields should left to NULL and is
compatible to boot.

Add EPDC splash screen feature for MX6SL EVK, and MX6DL SABRESD board.
- Currently, splash screen consists of a simple black border
around a white screen. Done this way to save in memory footprint.
- EPDC splash screen is disabled by default in the config file for MX6DL_SABRESD
and MX6SL_EVK. If left enabled, the U-Boot image will not boot correctly
(hang), since some additional content on the boot device (waveform file) is
required for EPDC splash to work correctly.
Please refer to Linux Reference Manual for how to flash WAVEFORM file.

Commit 890880583d84607e36b52a785a96b167728bbf73 introduced EEPROM parsing and
board detection but faild to return a valid tricorder_eeprom struct for backup

returned falsely a tricorder_eeprom struct with uninitialized data which is
just garbage.

For instance,

Those commands basis on implementation of random UUID generator version 4
which is described in RFC4122. The same algorithm is used for generation
both ids but string representation is different as below.
char: 0 9 14 19 24 36
xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
UUID: be be be be be
GUID: le le le be be
Commands usage:
- uuid [<varname>]
- guid [<varname>]

This patch adds support to generate UUID (Universally Unique Identifier)
in version 4 based on RFC4122, which is randomly.
Source: https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4122.txt
Changes:
- new configs:
- CONFIG_LIB_UUID for compile lib/uuid.c
- CONFIG_RANDOM_UUID for functions gen_rand_uuid() and gen_rand_uuid_str()
- add configs dependency to include/config_fallbacks.h for lib uuid.
lib/uuid.c:
- add gen_rand_uuid() - this function writes 16 bytes len binary representation
of UUID v4 to the memory at given address.
- add gen_rand_uuid_str() - this function writes 37 bytes len hexadecimal
ASCII string representation of UUID v4 to the memory at given address.

This commit introduces cleanup for uuid library.
Changes:
- move uuid<->string conversion functions into lib/uuid.c so they can be
used by code outside part_efi.c.
- rename uuid_string() to uuid_bin_to_str() for consistency with existing
uuid_str_to_bin()
- add an error return code to uuid_str_to_bin()
- update existing code to the new library functions.

Commit 2faf5fb82ed6 introduced a regression that causes a data
abort when running scsi init followed by scsi reset.
There are 2 problems with the original commit
1) ALLOC_CACHE_ALIGN_BUFFER() allocates memory on the stack but is
assigned to ataid[port] and used by other functions.
2) The function ata_scsiop_inquiry() tries to free memory which was
never allocated on the heap.
Fix these problems by using tmpid as a temporary cache aligned buffer.
Allocate memory separately for ataid[port] and re-use it if required.
Fixes: 2faf5fb82ed6 (ahci: Fix cache align error messages)

1. The Data timeout counter value in eSDHC_SYSCTL register is
not working as it should be, so add quirks to enable this
workaround to fix it to the max value 0xE.
2. Add CONFIG_SYS_FSL_ERRATUM_ESDHC111 to enable its workaround.

The controller reset is performed now if command error occurs.
This commit adds the reset for the case of data related errors too.

Calculation of the timeout value should be based on actual clock value,
written to controller registers. Since mmc->tran_speed is either the
maximum allowed speed, or the preliminary value, that is be not yet
set to registers, the actual timeout, taken by the controller, based
on its clock settings, may be much longer than expected, based on
mmc->tran_speed value. In particular it happens at early initialization
stage, when typical value of mmc->tran_speed is 20MHz or 26MHz, while
actual clock setting, configured in the controller, is 400kHz.
It's more correct to use mmc->clock value for timeout calculation instead.
